*update 1. The money was refunded after 3 separate phone calls. 2. What kind of policy is it to have the customer waste more time to drive the food back? Didn’t you see what you put in the boxes? Decent pizza with a New York-style crust. Toppings were tasty with one exception: they used CANNED SPINACH. Canned spinach has no business anywhere, but especially not on a pizza, where it taints everything it touches with its metallic vinegary taste.

I am new to Goose Creek and have been trying to find out who has the best pizza–so far Mike’s is my choice. I ordered a pizza and garlic knots, and all of it was absolutely delicious. The marinara sauce tastes like someone literally went outside to the garden, picked the tomatoes and made it right before it was delivered to me. The pricing was comparable to other pizza chains but the pizza was definitely superior. I will be back! Thank you Mike’s Pizza and Italian Restaurant!

We stopped here tonight because it received pretty good reviews. Save your money!! The service was painfully slow. I had to go to the counter and ask for refills as the 2 front staff were sitting there messing with their phones. The kids chicken meal was totally over cooked. The pizza was not any better then a frozen pizza. We also received the garlic knots, which were free, with the meal. Its a good thing because a few of them were so hard that I couldn’t break a small piece off for my grandson. The 4.5 stars is total nonsense. We will not be back.

Awesome experience! I can’t wait to go back. The staff was friendly and courteous. They made sure we were satisfied and constantly checked to see if we needed anything. They also made good recommendations as it was my first time here. They have pizza, subs, pastas, salads and some more. Their loaded fries are the best I’ve ever had! It’s also very affordable to eat here.

Look, if you were visiting the area and asked me for good pizza in the area I would include this Mike’s in a list of pizza places without question. I would, however, 5 star recommend another pizza place very near to it because it’s just plain better. Mike’s is by no means “bad” pizza, but I’m not writing letters home about it either. I would go here over Pizza Hut or Little Caesar’s any day of the week, no question. That said, it’s as average as you can get for gourmet pizza. There’s nothing about it that really stands out or makes it unique or special. And that’s not a bad thing, it’s not a bad pizza, it’s just a kind of “eh” pizza for a “wow” pizza price. Would I recommend it if we were standing in the parking lot? Yes. Would I tell you to make the drive? Probably not. For me, not having fried mushrooms on the menu took the second star. So take that for what it is, personal preference. Fried mushrooms have always been a staple for me while waiting for my pie to arrive. Mike’s misses that mark for me. The staff are usually younger high school / early college age but very friendly and attentive. You can tell they work for good management. The atmosphere and experience is fine. The menu just needs some fine tuning.
