The vibes are great and certain items are really good. Our waiter was super nice and the switching of martini glasses to chilled when they warmed up was awesome.

Just moved to the neighborhood and heard of the other restaurants in this group. The space is great and service is on top of it. We got the garlic bread, panzanella, tagliatelle, and fish of the day and butter pasta for my 10 month old. Everything came out super fast, well prepared, not too big portion sizes. The best / most unique was the panzanella. We did not get it but the Sunday cart was massive and impressive for any kid ordering. Will definitely be back.

Dinner was terrific last night. Being a fan of Ospi, I was glad to hear when the owners opened up Jemma di Mare as well. It’s located in Brentwood, which is one of the prettier parts of Los Angeles. Parking can be tricky, however, there is valet in the parking garage beneath the restaurant.

Jemma in Brentwood: I was so excited as supposedly it’s East Coast- Italian my Hood. The fried Calamari was tender and crispy and not chewy, one of the best I have ever had. The rest? Ummm, well, don’t bother. The Caesar salad was basically buttermilk, no taste of the egg aioli and lacked anchovy . Even the parm was mediocre. The veal parm was free range but it was flat and forgettable. The kampachi ceviche was too fishy (but I can be over sensitive about these things nobody else thought so) . Both pastas were under 1-2 min. . The very expensive sole was deep fried, a fact they left off the menu. The service was very good and appropriately attentive so there’s that. We brought 4 bottles and they waived two corkage and it still was $200 per couple. You’re welcome for saving you the trouble of going.

My husband and I had a fantastic experience here! We used to frequent bottlefish which was previously in this location… Jemma di Mare blew us away. The service was fantastic – Teanna was an incredible server and made sure we were satisfied at all times. The food was outstanding! Highly recommend the kale salad, baby carrots, tagliatelle (with a meatball), and the octopus…which was SO tender. We finished with a very tasty cannoli. A fun atmosphere and overall positive experience! We will be back 🙂

Went for lunch last weekend and the food was absolutely fantastic. The kale salad, which we’ve had at their other locations, was consistent and tasty. Sandwich was light but also filling. The spicy vodka rigatoni was on point, al dente perfection. Will be back when on that side of town.

Tried this place with my aunt for lunch. The food is very good although the portions are very small. They add a 4% employee benefit support to the bill. She tried the branzino fillet with a small Caesar salad. I had the capellini pasta which tasted very fresh.
