Porto is an Italian Mediterranean Restaurant by Chef Jody Adams and Restauranteur Eric Papachristos. Porto serves Italian cuisine which also includes home made pasta and plenty of vegetable driven dishes. The cocktail menu is inspired by deep flavors that inspire all of our dishes, and our menu is a beautiful and elegant assortment of old world and new world wines.
Beautifully nestled on a quiet side street next to Sak’s Fifth Avenue clothing store. The outdoor dining and three season patio is perfect for any weather New England has to offer. Reservations are not necessary, but highly encouraged.

The atmosphere is nice. We went there as a party of 6. We had a nice table on the patio. Our server was nice. The cocktails were good and tasty. The food was great. I tried “Wild Mushroom” pasta. It was good but I cannot say that it was worth $30. This place is so overpriced. We ordered dessert “Tiramisu” to share for the table, we mentioned that to our server however, she did not mention that it will be a small portion. Well, we got a small portion of “Tiramisu” for $12 that we finished in less than 2 minutes. She was supposed to recommend we get something else for a party of 6 or to get 2 portions of “Tiramisu” but she did not say anything. Kinda disappointed about that.

Porto was fresh, delicious and well worth the bill! Their menu was diverse and well-done. It has meat, seafood, vegetarian options and it just seems to have something for everyone. Their staff paid a great attention to detail and the service was excellent. Their food is fresh, local and perfectly done! There is no parking, and reservations would be recommended. I would highly recommend Porto for a date night, apps, snacks and drinks!

Update 8/5: new shared plates main course … very good… not a lot of food barely enough for 2 people ($100). You need to ask for a lot of bread(very good focaccia). Tuna tartare is extremely small not worth for $25.

We snuck in to this gem of a restaurant in the middle of a downpour. We sat outside and they dropped a plastic garage door to protect us from the elements. First they brought out some delicious focaccia followed by a great anti pasto, we ordered the burrata. I was surprised by the peaches which gave a delicious contrast to the cheese . After the appetizers I enjoyed the lamb chops and a Negroni Sbagliato. Great atmosphere, amazing supper, cool crowd and really chill vibe. The lemons everywhere where a nice touch
