My first and last time at this location! The food was good. My review is about a employee in particular. A short long hair guy a bit slow looking. He tried to make me feel dumb when I asked if they had gluten free bread for my 10 year old nephew that’s allergic to it. Instead of just telling me they don’t have any (forgot to say it was my first time at a Jimmy John’s so when I told him I needed a minute to look over the menu. He seem very annoyed. The place was not even busy at the time. When I was ready to order I said let me have 2 number 8 he interrupted me and rudely said “before you move on what do you want as your side and what size”.

Worst experience ever, terrible service, rude young kids working there, totally unsupervised! Just look at all the reviews on google and Yelp for this location! Bad, bad, bad. Oh, and you have to contact “corporate” with an online complaint, but they don’t get back to you. I have sent FOUR online complaints for 3 weeks and no response. Some young boy named “Jay” working there yelled at me to “get out of my store!” several times while the manager texted on his phone and leaned on a broom. All in front of my daughter and other customers! And after he overcharged my credit card and I knew it was too much, he would not give me a receipt!! Jimmy John’s worst location ever! No wonder your sales are down, business is slow, area manager didn’t care and isn’t doing her job AT ALL. Sad that customers have to pay for this kind of service. We have paid a lot over the years, even catered my daughter’s party. No more! Unbelievable that there is no meaningful way to make a complaint. I saved all my online complaints, but for what? They don’t get back to you!

I didn’t know that the 20% off coupon on the app meant 20% off the meat. We had order the Big John and it barely had any meat in it. We have not had this issue before. I added photos for reference.

This five-star review is for the guy juggling an insane amount of sandwich orders completely solo on a busy weekend. My receipt says his name is Zachary. He was truly up to his neck in to go orders as well as in person visits. I felt overwhelmed for him, but must commend him on maintaining such a great attitude and calm demeanor. Despite the amount of sandwiches he was busy making, he’s still greeted every single guest that came in the door and spoke to them to manage their expectations of the time frame for getting their sandwich. If management is reading this, this employee is a rockstar, but like a precious reviewer mentioned… get this poor dude some help before he finds somewhere less stressful to work!

Great customer service. I saw the previous manager of the UTEP mesa location working there. Hopefully he’ll lead the place to a great direction. Made it just in time before the swarm of high school kids. I would hate to be stuck eating with an army (15+) of high school kids crowding the whole place. Wish the location had more seating.
