Kobe Japanese Steak & Seafood – So with the understanding that there’s a sriracha shortage. Let me preface my statement with I eat every meal with some version of hot sauce. We came here for dinner and when I asked for hot sauce with my meal the server told me she had to ask. Returned to tell me they didn’t have anything. I asked if they had any version of hot sauce and the server responded anything they had would be too hot for me. Aside from being insulted, to pay what one pays at Japanese steak house, to not only what they charge and smaller portions to not provide anything plus insults we will not return

The guy taking the order was very snappy and rude for no reason. I asked for a vegetarian meal for me and my son. He immediately said “no, we can’t do that”. I looked at him confused. If my son doesn’t eat meat why can he have the vegetarian meal? So he only places an order for me and TELLS me to share with my son. The soda was flat. Not a bubble in sight.

Hmmm. Very strange experience today 05/31 dinnertime. Party of 5 reservation…The place was empty, besides two families at separate tables. We sat at our table and went to the restroom to wash our hands. After returning, from the restroom we saw 2 people sitting at our table . Why ? The bar is open and there’s another table. It was the most awkward, experience that I immediately left confused, yet happy I did not eat there.

Very busy. Hostess seemed annoyed with entrance waiting area being overcrowded. Previous visit lights were dimmed to offer a ambience but this visit lights were on high and bright. Several customers had made the same observations when entering. Food was delicious but on the downside our chef wasn’t as entertaining as other tables.

Loved going here as a kid but I think it used to be a lot better. Their staff was much more fun and very consistent back in the day. Now I feel like it’s hit or miss. The food still great though.

We were a large party celebrating New Year’s Eve. We did have a reservation and they sat us promptly around our reservation time. We never felt rushed, service was great, and food was good too. Overall we get a great experience out with family and friends.

The atmosphere was good. The hibachi chef was interactive, funny, and helped to keep the kids interested in what was going on being sure to include them on the fun. Several of the people in our party felt that the food was very bland and lacking in flavor and was the most disappointing part of the whole experience. Would I go back, maybe if I was not paying. Is it worth the money? For the entertainment yes but the food no.

Overall a very good experience. Food was good quality and expertly prepared. Our chef was excellent, both in his cooking at well as making the got experience entertaining for everyone. The only gripe I had with the visit was with the service other than the chef which was not very attentive. For example, not refilling drinks, or coming to check, throughout the entire dinner.
