I came here with my family for mother’s day and Val’s was great! Even though the restaurant was full we got seated right away by a nice hostess. The staff were excellent and really on top of cleaning up tables. I had the baked nutty salmon with a glass of chardonnay. It was absolutely delicious! My only complaint is that the dining room was cold, if you come here make sure to bring a jacket! Prices were standard for the market, obviously you’ll pay more if you order a drink. Definitely a good value for the portion sizes.

I had my daughters Bridal shower at Vals today. Val was wonderful to work with. The food was amazing! Val and her staff are so professional friendly and accommodating. The room is bright clean and Welcoming. If you are looking to Have a bridal shower, Anniversary party or anything else.. I definitely highly recommend Vals!

Visited on a Saturday mid-day. Tables were full but with no wait times. Greeter was friendly and we were seated quickly. Dining room was cooler than I would have liked and had to put my sweatshirt back on after a few minutes.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!! We had the most wonderful baby shower for my daughter at Val’s! Everything was perfect from start to finish! From the first phone call to the final bill I have nothing but praise. When I began planning we were still in the midst of COVID restrictions and weren’t really sure what we could do but Val assured me that no matter what she would do everything she could to make it beautiful. And she did!! Thankfully the restrictions loosened as we got closer to our event date and we were able to have a beautiful buffet with more than just a few people per table. The menu selections have something for everyone and the food was fantastic! All of our guests just raved about the food, the room, everything!! The staff was awesome, they were all attentive and very helpful. Val takes great care of her guests and I couldn’t have ever imagined a better day. Thank you – thank you – thank you to Val and all of her staff that worked so hard to ensure that my daughter’s baby shower was such a success. I will recommend you every time!

local place we had never visited in the last 30 years of living in the area. set in the bar area on high top tables. nice and quiet view of the bar. I would not get the haddock shrimp dinner again. shrimp a little overcooked and had a little dry.
