At our Clarksville, TN location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Caucasian girl at the front counter was very nasty. Questioned why my 13 Year old daughter was there . Um to pick up our order smh. Then when we waited about 15 minutes for two sandwiches and she literally threw my food on the counter. I called to speak to the store manager, the girl was talking stuff in the background. WOW very unprofessional zero customer service skill.

Food is average for fish. Customer service is horrible. The cashier made a mistake on my order. No big deal, I’m thinking just talk to the manager and get things straight. No the manager’s attitude was worse. Definitely not going back. Not worth the hassle especially when I can fry better fish myself.

I thought it was going to be real treat to have Captain D’s for dinner tonight as I remember the fish being flakey white and delicious. Now the fish is dark and tough. Not at all the same fish they use to have. Still crispy on the outside but flavorless on the inside. I was so disappointed.

Sign to store is missing from the front. Observed it behind the rear of the store in 2 pieces as well as a 2 part refrigerator unit. The Drive-Thru menu board is faded and has black mold in places. It looks ancient. Needs replaced!

After reading the reviews previously to mine, it seems like the biggest complaint is service. However, I eat here twice a week for lunch. The food is ALWAYS hot and made fresh. I have never had a bad experience with food or service. The previous comment about about the “disabled person” is just rude. I’m unsure if she’s the manager, but she has ALWAYS been friendly and goes above and beyond. I think it’s inspiring to see her working, and it’s more than some people do without relying on a walker. I’d give 10 stars if given the option.

Went for lunch to discover they’ve closed their dining room. Little paper sign posted on the door so you got leave your vehicle and walk up to the door to find out. They still do drive-thru and pickup service. A bit of a disappointment to us. We dined elsewhere.

The employees are very very rude. They are talking about me right in front of my face they just don’t know they are talking about me. There was a customer behind l me and the guy taking her order was absolutely rude to me while he’s being nice to her. This place needs to work on better employees like seriously. The only good thing about this place is the food. They are talking bad about the customers in the drive through. I was in the drive through but their com went out so I couldn’t hear anything. So I drove around and came in to finish my order and this black guy who took my order is just absolutely rude and he needs to be fired or needs to learn respect
