I would love to share my experience at Steak and Shake. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and the staff was very attentive throughout my meal. I ordered the steak burger and it was cooked to perfection. The fries were crispy and seasoned just right. Overall, I had a great dining experience and I highly recommend Steak and Shake to anyone looking for a delicious meal and great service.

We haven’t been to this restaurant in a while. We were taken back by the emptiness and loneliness we felt walking in. Gone were the hostesses and servers. A manager no where to be seen. There’s the cooks. They don’t greet. They direct you to the self service. From there you’re left to figure it out. You get your own cups. You seat yourself. In a very old fashion fast food manor you’re called to get your food. You clean up after yourself. I guess they solved the issue of short help by making the customer do everything, but cook the food. I could get it to go and get the same experience at home. Except at home I’d be more comfortable… the burger was alright. The fries barely room temp. The salt content on both was a bit to much for us. We are use to being able to order with no salt. Something we couldn’t do on the kiosk. We won’t be rushing back here anytime soon…

Honestly, it’s not my worst dining experience, but it was still far from good. The food could have been much better, but it was just bland with little to no seasoning, especially the fries with no salt. The lady calling out orders had a nasty look, and they didn’t even put cheese on either of our cheese fries. I mean what are cheese fries without cheese? Probably won’t be coming back and I wouldn’t recommend going here

This time this month we’ve come here. No more, ever!! All 3 times where during the week, around 6pm. All 3 times, food was cold, thrown together and the place was filthy. This time all the above my family and a both with assistant some off duty employees. They say there being loud and rude. Cussing and talking about offensive things. Two stars on this one folks because I didn’t get to eat. Arrived at 9:50 for breakfast. The restaurant didn’t open until 10, so I waited outside. At 10:05, a young lady walked up and put her key in the door and asked me if she could help me. I said I was just there to eat. She politely told me that she had just gotten there, and the store would not open for at least 30 minutes because nothing was turned on and hot. I had to leave.

Ordered DoorDash. My driver arrived right after I ordered and waited for my food. I live one road over from my location. My food arrived cold. I did not receive the sauce that I requested and I received chocolate milkshakes instead of the flavor that I ordered, which was birthday cake. How can you be so incompetent that you get literally every single thing wrong ? I understand these are minimum wage jobs, but I will say this again, as I have said many times, regardless of your wage if you choose to work somewhere, you should at least do the bare minimum of your job. If I’m paying 30+ dollars for fast food I should at least get what I paid for and not have it ice cold.

They only have kiosks for ordering food now and then call your number to come to the counter to get your food. Completely self service other than making it. Food was ok, not great. The garlic burger I ordered was tasty, fries were cold and hard. I also got a cookies and cream shake that was put into a small to go cup, not a shake glass like others had. The cherry tasted bad, spit it out immediately. All of the tables were dirty, just needed an overall wipe down of entire seating area. Definitely not the experience that I remember and yes I realize that COVID changed a lot of food companies operating services but this was too much.

Always takes a long time to get food. Expect to be in the drive through for no shorter than 8 minutes if there’s even a car or two in front of you. Food is always good though
