There are a lot of Mexican restaurants around. I think of four within a 10 minute drive of this one alone, however we find ourselves coming back to this one most often. The food is always good but the value is second to none. The plates in the photo are one single menu item called the Special Grande. It’s basically one of everything and it’s $15. Not to take anything away from the taste either, always well seasoned and cooked well. Although the special grande will most likely be my go-to from now on their other menu items are fantastic and innovative. The stuffed pineapple is a great deal filled with chicken, steak, shrimp, and served with rice and beans.

Pretty good Mexican restaurant in the area, definitely kicks the local competition cahones! I do have a few gripes though with that being said. First things first a corona-rita isn’t half house margarita and half corona I was stunned to see my 13 dollar drink served to me with an empty corona bottle hanging off to the side. Moving on the chicken in the quesadilla lacked flavor! It was very bland, no spices were added to the meat at all. My recommendation is to stick with the street tacos

Hands down, the best Mexican food I’ve ever eaten. Flavorful and solid portions that leave leftovers. I’m not typically one to get excited about food, but it was so good I’m leaving a review. Only reason for 4 stars on service and atmosphere is because they sat us in the back of the restaurant with a large party so it was loud and a little slower service. The food more than made up for this.

Me, my husband and daughter came for an early dinner. My husband ordered seafood soup. They told him they had no crab legs 10 minutes after we ordered and asked if he was ok without the crab legs. He agreed and we assumed they would take a portion of the price off. When they brought the food we double checked that they’d be discounting the soup and the waiter came back and said “no, I can’t”. Then he took my husbands food away!!! Zero stars for service.

I happened upon this place as I was taking the long road back home to Port Orange. It was lunchtime, I was hungry and saw that this place had a lot of cars (a good sign to me.). I was immediately greeted by a host and was seated at a booth. The place was decorated like a canteen you would see in Mexico. A server brought up a bowl of multi-colored chips and a sauce. They were delicious! The menu was large with many special choices. The lunch choices were very reasonable. I chose the double steak soft tacos. A great choice, as it was loaded with tender steak pieces, grilled with onions and mushrooms and a large portion of delicious Mexican yellow rice. All this for only $9.99! It was so good that I ordered another serving to go. Very satisfied.

The waiter we had unfortunately went home before we were done. The food was amazing. I truly enjoyed it. My date had the same compliments. The horchata (I think I’m spelling it right) was the 3rd best I have had. Very well made. I would definitely recommend this place. I was impressed by my first time visit.

Food is good! Inside is clean. Service is friendly. But…there are price discrepancies with the menu and what is charged. I mentioned and pointed it out to the waitress but she pretty much said it’s the price and offered no apology nor attempted to fix it. On my way out, I pointed it out to the hostess and she was very quick to apologize &, instantly reached for the register to refund the difference. Charging a cc fee is one thing, but to charge more than the printed menu prices is just unethical and flat wrong! I’ll ask for the mgr next time this happens

Fantastic food. Margaritas awesome, service was good. They did have a sign when you walked in apologizing for any delays due to staff shortages. It was Sunday afternoon our wait was not long. Only thing that I would not recommend is the flan.

The food was delicious. However, there was a very loud party in the corner of the restaurant where the majority of people were being seated. They were drinking & were celebrating a birthday. Not to be a “Karen”, I couldn’t hear or even talk to the people at my table without their continual outbursts. I asked the waiter if he could please have them quiet down and his response was there’s nothing that he could do. Any other restaurant would have taken the feelings of other patrons into account. This is poor business and unfortunately, although the food was delicious, I will not be back.
