Laury’s dining experience was exceptional. My husband and I ate there while in town for a business convention. The food was delicious and the service excellent. It was fine dining at its best. The restaurant itself is beautiful as well. This was our second visit to Laury’s together and Lord willing not our last.

Incredible food and service. We recently dined with friends from Arizona. The escargot is some of the best I’ve had. Three of us had duck, and the other person had the veal picata. Everything was wonderful. Glenn was our fantastic server. We wrapped up our dinner with three cobblers and one bananas foster along with coffee service. Reservations are highly recommended.

Great atmosphere – really beautiful inside, with a variety of delicious fine dining entrees and attentive, friendly service. They offer souffles on their dessert menu – be sure to let them know ahead of time as they take 40 minutes to prepare but they are well worth the wait. The restaurant is right on the river with an excellent view of the water.

First time here to this elegant resturant. Stacy, the host, seated us near a window looking out towards the city. We started with a glass of wine and a well made dirty Martini by Patrick. No appetizers this day. Our server was Mo. She was so good, and attentive. Her smile and friendliness added to a super night celebrating my wife’s birthday. My Mrs had the Petit Fillet Mignon with mashed potatoes. She also had the creamed spinach. It was the first time I saw her “clean her plate” it was that good, she said.

Great atmosphere, great food, and Betty was an amazing waitress! She told us the history and mentioned that she has worked there since 1996. She gladly accommodated a dietary restriction and went out of her way to make our dinner a memorable experience. Her bananas foster with toasted almonds was delicious. Great find if you are looking for fine dining while in Charleston, with a fantastic view of the river.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant and we LOVED it!!! The food was phenomenal! We literally used butter knives to cut our steak..absolute perfection! It was slightly odd however that they take your entire order at the beginning of the meal but everything was timed out perfectly. I am crazy when it comes to timing food because I do not want my salad before my appetizer or my appetizer with my steak. They have perfected this. It is definitely an amazing experience and the atmosphere was superb. We will definitely be going back and I can’t wait! I ordered the filet ordered medium rare, and it was great, perfectly cooked. The Caesar salad was a little strong on the taste of anchovies, but it was still good. French onion soup was great. The shrimp cocktail were huge! Also, a friend that we were with ordered a lobster tail and it was delivered off the shell, i wouldve ordered one had i known that! The staff were all very friendly as well, again, we can not wait to go back and we definitely can’t stop saying all good things about this place!!

We came to Laury’s for dinner thanks to online search recommendations. We are so glad we found this restaurant. Beautiful location, in a historic building across from the river, with great views of it. Very elegant and classy restaurant, pretty decor and ambiance. The service was very attentive and not stuffy. To compliment it all there was the food, everything was made very well and tasted so good. Also, it is one of the few fine restaurants anywhere that still prepares table side dishes, like the Caesar salad and the banana fosters that we ordered. They have a full bar, a large wine selection, and several options for port by the glass. We were surprised that it was not overpriced like many restaurants at this level. We would love to come back!!!!
