Always delivers hot and fresh pizza. tonight I ordered two pizzas and they forgot one. I called the store and the lady was very nice and sent me my other pizza. I’ve ordered from this place a lot and this never happened but when it did, the service was excellent. The delivery drivers are always friendly, and the quality of the food is great and hot.

Horrible! Order pizza an hour ago, and they called to tell me they canceled my order do to technical difficulties. Gets better, manager can’t even call to advise me, they have someone else call (guessing a main office) and they don’t even apologize It’s 9pm and almost everything is closed. Still need to feed my family. Will never order here again

We ordered a barbecue chicken pizza. What we mostly got was barbecue sauce, not enough cheese nor chicken. Very poorly made and only edible part was the crust. The picture shows exactly what we got.

I mean yeah you can order from here, but you might not get your pizza. So there’s that. You also aren’t going to get great customer service. After waiting an hour for our pizza, I called to ask about it because the tracker said it was delivered. Took 3 times waiting on hold to actually talk to someone. Then, get this – these people KNEW we didn’t get our pizza and waited for us to call them. The lady I spoke to knew what order it was without me even having to tell her my name, and she knew that the order was delivered to the wrong address by the driver, yet she somehow didn’t know to call me or start remaking the order. They waited for me to call them after over an hour. I was then told I could either wait another hour for them to remake it or they could issue a refund. It seems like people not actually getting the food they order is a common issue with this location according to the reviews. So yeah, go ahead and order your pizza if you’re willing to gamble your time to see if you actually get it. I hope your kids aren’t hungry.

The pizza quality is really good, always hot and generous with toppings. Crust is fresh, etc. The problem is the customer service when it comes to prices and coupons. On my first visit, I handed the cashier my mailer coupon, and they did not apply it correctly, so the discount was less than what it was supposed to be. So I went back a few weeks later and tried to use a new mailer coupon, this time for a FREE medium cheese pizza. The person who took my order on the phone said to bring the coupon in to the store, but when I got to the store, the lady said that they could not take my coupon because it was for online ordering only. Well the person who took my order on the phone at the national customer service center should have asked me or informed me about that! (Also the coupon does NOT state anywhere on there that it is for online only, not even in the fine print.) So now I have placed an order through their customer service but can’t use my coupon and can’t back out. I then had to pay around $35 for two MEDIUM pizzas, even though they had a manager’s special that day posted on the board for two LARGE pizzas for $20. How do I have to pay almost double for less pizza? They should have just done manager override and called my two medium pizzas two large pizzas so I could at least use that discount. I complained but they wouldn’t do anything about it. So I called the customer service number to complain but got an automated message that I had to send any formal complaints in by e-mail. I e-mailed my complaint and never heard back. I don’t care how good their pizza tastes; I’m never going to give my business to somebody who can’t honor their coupons or at least handle a customer complaint and respond. I’ll be giving all of my future business to Domino’s.

Employees are friendly, & they’re quick to resolve mix-ups & mess-ups. However, I don’t know what happened to the presentation. The slices are always unequal. When opting for several toppings, we’ve found slices where they appeared to be plain cheese, & the rest of the pizza had a touch of deluxe. I dkn if they’re started to hold back the sauce now, because last few pizzas we ordered, tasted like cheese n bread, with a hint of sauce. I dkn maybe the crew needs coaching, or they need to revisit papa John’s reputation among most pizza franchises. They’ve always delivered on customer service, performance, taste, & presentation. This was the only place I’d recommend to ppl wanting a taste & service of an authentic Italian slice of pizza. Plz have a talk with your crew. It’s got to get better! I’ve been giving this crew in Clayton the benefit of the doubt. Hoping that by my next order, it’ll b better. But it has only been getting worse. So our family has been resorting to dominoes which we all hardly enjoy, ughgh… can barely eat it the next day…ughhh. #missintheoldpapajohnsway
