Manager seems to be doing all she can but most of the help doesn’t seem to care. Was told I had to come inside for a mobile order and manager became irritated with staff and told them don’t ever do that again. Then my medium fries were smalls. Ordered spicy nuggets and all were plain… Just about any Wendy’s you go to these days has horrible service.

Updated 3/27/23: I hate to get rid of a great review from 3 months ago but tonight’s order was SO bad and I’m SO furious, I had to!! 3 DAVE’S Singles and ALL 3 patties looked like hockey pucks!! The fries and burgers were deceptively warm but when you bit into either the jig was up!!! Chewy and just plain ole nasty!! Obviously warmed over and/or under a heat lamp for hours! Never again will I leave without checking/tasting my food!!

8/28/23. 230pm. Burger was good. Fries sucked. Cold and limp. Haven’t been to wendys in years due to this very thing, but the commercials swear their fries are better. Nope.

4 stars because I felt like I got ripped off here. I ordered just a medium chicken sandwich meal. $11.12 . Afterwards I saw I could have ordered 2 orders of the 4 for $4, or 5 for $5. That would be 8 or 10 smaller items instead of a regular sandwich, med fries and drink for more. I was the only person eating inside when I ordered. Pretty clean.

Pull up to drive thru. Attendant finally comes on to say drive thru is not working, come inside. I go inside to place my order with 1 customer ahead of me. There are no less than 8 workers standing around doing nothing. After 10 minutes, 1 out of 4 meals is finished and placed on the counter. Meanwhile, it takes another 10 minutes to receive the three other meals ordered. While the 1st meal is now cold. They have a screen in front of them that shows the items ordered, yet they keep asking what I ordered. The manager on duty was giving no direction to the employees standing around. This location is in Middlesex shopping center. Have had problems before. Not sure why I decided to put myself thru it again. Piss poor management!! My last time there. Spend you time and money elsewhere.

I was a little disappointed with the length of time it took to get to the window but, it was near closing on a Sunday night. It was at least 7 cars deep for well over an hour. I was parked in the lot while on my phone looking at the menu/offers and waiting for it to slow down before I placed my order on the app using mobile pay but they just kept coming. I check the time, and it was 20 minutes to closing now, so I figured I better put my method of payment in & get in line. 3 were ahead of me but I placed my order. I got a Burger, Cobb Salad, Chili, and Frosty with the offer of $3 off an order of $15 or more. This was a mobile pay order & I’ve had this happen at a different Wendy’s before where I placed a mobile pay order as well & it processed my card & took my payment and when I got to the speaker, they said ” We’re closed”. I said, well I need you to refund my card b/c I already placed a mobile order & you guys received the $$. They said they couldn’t & that I had to call the customer support line & or email them & I can find that information on the app. Well, I wasn’t real happy. So I did what they said & no answer for 3 days, w/ no ans. machine to leave a msg & every email I sent said failed to send. I hit send over and over and had no luck so they got me for $17. Well back to today’s order, finally get to the speaker & tells me to pull around, get to the window, and out of the 4 items I got, they said they were out of the chill, didn’t have any Cobb Salad left, Frosty machine was turned off & only had the burger. I thought oh no, they are gonna get me again on a $17 order but the guy thanked me for understanding and said he voided the items except the burger and I would receive the money back on my card. So we shall see. These are crossed!

Service was very slow and I had to repeat my order to the server at least 3 times, after he repeated it back to me incorrectly. Definitely don’t recommend going here if there is even a line of 2 or 3 cars if you don’t want to wait.

Service is just ok. They scream and holler at each other while people are dining in the dining room. The one training the other needs training themselves. Handed me a bag with the bottom busted out. I’m glad I noticed before picking it up off the counter or the food would have definitely been in the floor. Get it together Essex Wendy’s!

Rude cashier but not likely to happen seeing the last couple of reviews. Was picking up an order at 5:40 on April 17, 2023 and went to ask the cashier and he looked so bothered and just waved towards the side where the orders are. This is my first time here how was I supposed to know that? If you’re so bothered by a simple question get a new job. First and last time visiting this location.

The cashier that took my order was rude, questioned why I was rolling my eyes at her, etc. Tried to get a manager regarding the matter and go figure, “she was one of the manager’s”. Wow. When asked for the owner’s name she laughed and said she didn’t know it. Fortunately, I knew the manager at the other Wendy’s and she got me in touch with the GM who I met with a couple of days later. She was very nice, offered to give me a couple free meal coupons and apologized for the persons behavior. Not the first time she has had to do that I’m sure.
