Let’s be honest, we go to Panda Express for the Orange Chicken. I also go when I eating healthy and just get the super greens and whatever healthy entree i can find instead of rice.

I’ve had some very good experiences at this particular location on Coulter Road in Amarillo. The food always seems fresh and they have a good turnover. I usually get noodles and veggies, half and half, with two entrees. No matter how much I look at everything else I seem to always end up getting orange chicken. I don’t usually order the premium entrees because I’m on a budget. But once in awhile when they have something new like the sizzling shrimp then I will get it just to try it out. I like to get the two entree because it gives me leftovers for the next day. The other day I decided to get rice for a change and surprisingly, the one time I ordered it, they were out so I went back to my regular. I had to wait for the vegetables to be prepared and the man behind the counter kept apologizing. I told him it wasn’t a problem because I wasn’t in a hurry. They ended up giving me extra vegetables and a free appetizer to compensate for the wait which wasn’t necessary but was very much appreciated. I told the man behind the counter whose name I didn’t get that he was a hard worker and he waved his hand around in a circle and said everybody here is. I thought that was really nice that he wanted to give credit to all of his co-workers. Everyone was as pleasant as could be. I’ve had good experiences at most of the Panda Express locations I’ve gone to but I do remember one in particular which I think was in Arizona that I thought was way below standard. Otherwise I’m very happy with them.

Dinner here last night. Attendant was very short tempered. Ordered broccoli and beef on fried rice. Rec’d 3-4 quarter sized pieces of thinly sliced beef. Asked for more beef and he reluctantly gave me a bit more and stated”for future reference you’re supposed to get more broccoli than beef”. Rice was bland and dry and cold. Definitely won’t return! Doesn’t hold a candle to chop chop!

Received the incorrect order in drive thru. When we asked for what we had ordered, she proceeded to tell us we weren’t charged for it even though she repeated it back to us. Then we we arrived home we opened our boxes to find I had received the incorrect side and my fiancé had revived the wrong entrees.

Ordered 2 large chowmein and 4 orders of veggie spring rolls and requested 4 sachets of sweet & sour sauces and 10 sachets of chillie paste for my kids. Yes, we eat spicy. The server at the window denied my request for 10 sachet of chillie paste, and offered only 4. Her argument was that she is allowed to give only 2 sachet per order. If you do the math, I gave her a total of 6 orders, so that would make 12. She didn’t get the math, so I offered to pay for the sachets without success. This person simply kept repeating that she can’t give me 10 sachet as if I was begging for food for free. I left disappointed with 5 sachets. However, when kids informed me that the amount of chowmein served in large boxes was only 3/4 th full (see pic), I had to call the restaurant. The person on phone (after listening to our experience) said, “thanks for calling, I will inform the server”. My response, “is that it?”. Finally they connected me to the store manager. Store manager, offered to compensate for the inconvenience with small box of chowmein and 4 more sachets of chillie sause. Upon my return to window, the person on counter, didn’t want to even see the picture of the box of chowmein or see me eye-to-eye.

Horrible customer service, when through the drive through. The lady undercut my change, and I heard her say to her friend, “This is like a little side hustle.”

Annoyed with this place. Ordered the teriyaki chicken. They sent the chicken to me dry with zero sauce. Who does that? Literally all the flavor is in the sauce, so that tells you how the food tasted. The chicken looked questionable as well. I ordered on uber eats and there’s no place to request extra sauce or anything either. Waste of money.

I do not give one star lightly but I did get food poisoning from the orange chicken a few days ago. I would recommend avoiding this location.
