I’m so sorry to be agitated enough to be writing this review, but the negative experience I had today (and at my last couple of visits) has me feeling that Jimmy John’s may want some food for thought regarding their Indian Lake Blvd. franchise, which used to be our favorite sandwich shop. A few years back, ownership changed and over time, we have experienced an inconsistency and decline in the quality of product and customer service. The previous owners and their employees were always so upbeat and friendly, and the sandwiches were awesome; made with pride and handed over with a smile. Now, the staff seems mechanical — no warm welcomes — and the sandwiches are hit or miss (mostly miss). Last time I had a TOTALLY TUNA (about a month ago), I got it home and it was HARDLY TUNA. My husband and I thought, “Okay … maybe someone was having a bad day … it’ll be better next time.” Nope. Got a TOTALLY TUNA today. As they were preparing the sandwich, I noticed that, once again, the tuna didn’t cover the bread end to end and was a very thin layer (sometimes the person making the sandwich uses a heaping scoop; sometimes they use a less than full scoop — I think today, it was the latter). I mentioned to the person making the sandwich that there was hardly any tuna on the sandwich and she told me that that’s the way the sandwich comes but I could pay for extra tuna. Being used to the way the former owners served up their sandwiches — back when I felt I was getting my money’s worth in product and warm, friendly customer service — when I was asked if I wanted the sandwich, I declined it and asked for a refund. They issued the refund, but that TOTALLY TUNA sandwich left me with a very bad taste in my mouth. Jimmy John’s prices have increased but their quality has decreased. I hope this isn’t their new standard because if so, they’ve gone from our favorite sandwich shop to a last-resort option. Again, so sorry for my negative review. I just felt Jimmy John’s might want to know that they’re losing customers over this type of issue.

LATEST UPDATE: As much as this JJ location has screwed me over in the past, I must give credit when and where credit is due. They execute efficiently and accurately, as long as you instruct them accordingly when placing an order. Thank you for nailing the order for my party. Will be ordering again

Been a while since I have been to one of these!! Price was comparable to other sandwich shops. The food was outstanding! I liked their selection of grinders(subs). Was an easy in, order and get back to the hotel to sit and eat and relax.

I love jimmy john’s but this location has to be the most poorly managed one I’ve ever ordered from. The employees will mess up your order and argue whether or not they have to make it right. I would suggest that all potential customers either order food elsewhere or at another location. Save your time and money

Meh, another overpriced commercialzed sub shop. They should send their people to the Northeast to learn how a sub SHOULD taste!

Sandwich was good. Floor and tables were dirty but, then again, the employees were working as fast as they could to make orders. Great job all!
