We have been wanting to try Khan Saheb for a long time and somehow never got to it. Finally got to eat there last night. It was a treat for sure. We ordered the Goat Cheese Naan ,a big hit for us as we love goat cheese, pani puri, lamb chops, Lamb Rogan Josh, Palak Paneer, karahi chicken and Dal. Palak Paneer was exceptional with depth in flavor. It was our favorite dish of the evening. The Rogan Josh and Lamb Chops were both tender, well made with the right amount of fat, salt, spices…yumm.

Delicious, flavorful, filling Desi food. Definitely recommend the lamb chops and nihari. Their chai and dessert options were amazing as well – we got the gulab jamun and chocolate samosas, which paired perfectly with the freshly made tea.

Came in on a Friday evening. Didn’t have a reservation but they were kind enough to seat us in 10 mins even though they were busy.

My husband and I came in for an early dinner last Friday as first timers. We took Raza’s beef and chicken dish recommendations and were happy with all of them. It was early and the place was pretty empty so we had excellent prompt service. I have to say the presentation of their food is fun and different. The food was delicious – we both really loved the chicken 65 and sloppy khan. The chicken karahi is spicy so the Negroni was a great complement to the tongue tingling. The smoked beef is very smoky but does have great flavor in addition to the smoke. The garlic naan was just okay. Overall, we really enjoyed our dinner and would try a few different items next time to further explore their menu but we definitely left happy and full. Thanks for the great service Raza!

The first time I visited Khan Saab was back in 2022 during COVID restrictions, and it was great since there was not too much crowd and the food was decent. I have had better Nihari and Biryani, but the ambiance and mocktails brought me here.

The first time we came to this restaurant was when they first opened in 2020. I remember the food being great but the experience of sitting outside was less great. We decided to come back for OC restaurant week and it did not disappoint. There is so much flavor in everything. The pre fixe menu included Bhel Puri and Shai Tudka for the table. I ordered the Shrimp Masala that came with yellow dal, basmati rice, and naan. The restaurant was pretty busy. I’d recommend making a reservation.

Khan Saab has excellent Pakistani food. We enjoyed smoked kabob, lamb and a spicy chicken dish. All were flavorful, well prepared and perfectly spicy. The rice was cooked to perfect as was the naan. The service was very attentive and the space very lovely. Highly recommend!

Khan Saab is one of our favorite restaurants in the OC! You can tell that every dish is crafted with care and precision. It is no wonder than Michelin honored this restaurant with a Bib Gourmand rating! Here is a breakdown of my favorite dishes.

I was visiting from Toronto & had no expectations since the GTA halal food scene is hard to beat but was pleasantly surprised to visit this place.

The way that they set up the restaurant is very old and traditional in a bad way. There are no walls or any sort of separation within the dining area so everything is just out in a very open space and that means you can see and most definitely HEAR everything that is going on inside the room. Screaming babies, loud people, etc. I’m just not a fan of being in a room where there are too many people talking over each other. The food was pretty decent but it was enough to overlook the headache from all that was going on.
