The kid taking my order at window 1 dropped my debit card, then while trying to pick it up somehow bent it in half. He handed it back to me without saying a word. Now I have to go to manhattan to get a new card. When I went in and told one of the managers she said “look at our floor, how could he possibly do that”. Her customer service skills are so lacking that all I said was “I didn’t hand the card to him like that so what are you implying?” She just walked off. Last but not least the fries were so bad they tasted like they were a few days old.

The clerk was over talking me, and there seemed to have been a challenge for her to hear me. Very disappointing. Also, it appeared to me and my family that what appeared to be a “secured entry and exit” door (between the inside and outside of the facility) was propped open with a piece of cardboard… not a safe and secure choice, in my humble opinion. Also, McDonald’s APP does not work in this drive-thru. The cashier said that that was a “commonly known issue at this location.” And, it’s not their problem because ‘we have no control over whether or not the app works or doesn’t work.’ Good thing my app works at other participating facilities because I’ll not be going back to the Wamego, KS, location any time soon.

Alright so here’s the thing. I’m posting this in late April 2023 and I have to say, I really do love how much McDonald’s has been updating their restaurant recently. There are kiosks that will help you if theres a line of people. They aren’t all that fast but they get the job done pretty well. Also theres a pretty cool LED table that lights up different colors and will change colors after you place your drinks and food on it. The staff currently are doing a wonderful job. It’s much better then it was 5 years ago. I hope the management are treating them fairly with their paychecks. I do have some issues that the company needs to somehow solve. First issue is the ketchup packets. Most restaurants you go to will have a condiment dispenser. This McDonald’s did have a dispenser until covid happened. Then they either put it away or threw it out. Since covid isn’t an issue they should try to bring it back. It would really make my visit feel more comfortable instead of saying to myself, “Here I go opening 20 ketchup packets again. ” But everything else seems to be alright. Another issue I had was the urinal not flushing. Although that’s not a big problem it should be fixed. Bathrooms should be a major priority. Then there’s the biggest issue I seriously have and that’s how congested the parking lot is. I know McDonald’s is trying to do their best but seriously the parking can get rediculous at times. I’m sure they could purchase a small bit of land to the west or south but it’s kinda tricky driving around the lot especially if you have a large truck or SUV. Still overall with the recent experience I’ve had I’m giving this restaurant a 4 out of 5 stars. If they can bring back the dispenser and fix the urinal I’ll give it a 5.

First time here at this location. Came around 0900-0915 or so. Got a Large coffee, bacon egg and cheese biscuit and a sausage egg and cheese McMuffin. I came again around 0730 on another day and the place was packed, I think that was a weekday morning. But it is good for Business and rise and shine.

Long wait to order…..rude associate taking my order…2nd associate handed my food out the window but never said a word to me.. I ordered 2 McChickens….1 had ketchup, the other had ketchup and mustard…I’ve always gotten them with mayo…I had already left town when I opened the sandwiches or I would have come back…threw them both away…disgusting …
