First time coming here, and I got to say the food was on point and excellent! We ordered a lot! We got 7 kids combos with meat quesadillas, two orders of tacos, one was steak, and the other chicken. And they also have beans and rice. Now about the food, the quesdadillas with their chicken were phenomenal, nor gunna lie there. The tacos were delicious as well, but the chicken was definitely better than the steak (steak missed a little more flavour, in my opinion) now for the beans they were good but lacking a little more salt. The rice was alright as well. So out of 5, I gave the food a 5 because it was gooooooooood. Now, the service wasn’t a 5 because I feel like they need to listen more (I speak Spanish and English, and they still seemed confused with my order no matter what language I spoke, it was frustrating) and the service was slow. It’s very, very, very slow, and I know I’m a little in patient with that because I have worked in the industry before and I know things can get chaotic but this was just snail slow lol. BUT if you have the patience to wait, it is delicious!!

Picked up food to go order and definitely not a good experience. Ordered (2) enchilada plates and a chips and guacamole. The tortillas tasted like they were not fresh at all, ended up throwing away most of our meals. The chips and guacamole that I paid 5.99 for came with a very small cup of guacamole that wasn’t even all the way full. I have been to other cafe Rio locations and never had a issue. I am closer to this location and hoped that when I paid over 40.00 worth of food that it would be good.

Drink I wanted was empty. Manager was rude to me, I have a hearing disability and as I’m waiting to get a drink that was out and it’s loud in there I am holding onto my cup and a worker tries to aggressively grab my cup without a word. Then claims to say she was telling me she would fill it so I wouldn’t have to wait. I told her I couldn’t hear her but she refused to believe me. I never felt so disrespected! Didn’t know I needed to broadcast my slight disability which I never told her because she was treating me so badly I wanted to get out of there because when I tried to explain to another employee what was happening she came over again claimed to be the manager and anything to needed to say I should say to her. Then anything I did say she kept shaking her head no as if I was lying! Please do not go here if you value service and places who care about you who you don’t need to broadcast your disability.

They are really good! Thank you Alex for your pleasurable service! I really appreciate you for catering to my needs when I couldn’t get the birria tacos since they were limited time only. Now if only they could keep the birria tacos on the menu…

After suffering a crushing personal loss my husband drove me all the way from LA to the nearest Cafe Rio for some comfort food.

Avoid this Cafe Rio like the plague. The cashier that was inputting our order started cursing me out because I was working with the workers making my food. She was upset that she was unable to hear me. She didn’t understand simple instruction. It is ridiculously sad. The food looked okay, but will not support businesses like this.

Every time I come here I order the salad with grilled chicken. They are always out of grilled chicken and when they do have it, the chicken is hard, dry, overcooked and burnt. I do not order the tortilla with the salad as I have a gluten allergy. However I am still paying nearly $15 for a salad that is all lettuce and barely any of the other ingredients as they are stingy with the chicken and other ingredients. They always forget to add the crunchy tortilla strips unless I remind them and they over fill the salad with cilantro. I won’t be coming to this location anymore as it has seriously gone down hill over the past several years. I use to go here all the time when I was a student at UNLV when the food quality was satisfactory. Now the service and food quality is terrible while prices remain high.

It’s super sad that it’s hit or miss with this place. Well my last experience was down right horrible! I placed an order online only to get there and have to wait for an hour because they never received my order. And the cashier and one of the cooks got into a full blown argument in the midst of the lunch rush. My food was made incorrectly after having waiting for an hour to get it. I was already past my lunch break waiting for my food to be made!

The staff was friendly, but the food is absolutely horrible. I order the wet burrito and it had a shot worth of sauce on and the toritta was rubbery and it was mostly rice
