Unfortunately not a great experience. Gentleman that was waiting on us was extremely rude and impatient. Not really sure why, I guess everyone has bad days. We were flying out on a Monday night. The hours listed were “open until 7pm”. I asked our very rude bar staff when they closed, and he informed me that it “varies, night to night”. I did not receive my $18 meal correctly (ordered fries, not chips),but I didn’t complain as this seemed like a waste of time. I can understand getting an order wrong, but being rude is completely unnecessary. I was nothing but polite and courteous. I guess my expectations are too high for this type of establishment. I would not recommend this place for anyone. Also no gluten free options in the airport restaurants at GRR.

Wouldn’t even let a veteran sit there in the open seat to drink orange juice because I didn’t buy it from the restaurant. Michigan has no southern hospitality. Oh well that lady will never amount to anything in her life.

I sat at the bar to just be quick. The bartender was very nice. She let me split items up between 2 bills easily. I asked for a suggestion of 2 items of the bacon burger and the Dearborn dog and she went for the dog. I was leaning that way anyways but I commend that because it was $5 less and not a higher priced tip-hunting response. It felt honest. I also got the pretzels which were too hot to touch when then came out which means PERFECT and were great I. The beer cheese. All served on disposable plates and utensils

Was not expecting much. Pleasantly surprised with enormous serving of barbq pork, no bun, homemade potato chips, coleslaw. Served in carryout container so I could take leftovers on plane.

If a McDonalds opened up in this airport, it would put this and the other Founders’ restaurant out of business.

Expensive for food you could find at a school barbeque. Tipping for extremely basic service is similarly unappreciated.

I would tell you to eat before you go to the airport. This restaurant doesn’t have much of nothing. I got three small chicken strips with, with no fries, and cost me $10. The waiter and waitresses are very nice though!

Food was edible but not great. When I got my credit card statement I noticed that it was a dollar higher than what my receipt said. Innocent mistake? Maybe. I won’t be back though. Buyer beware.

Maybe the 1 star reviews were when this was under different management, or on a particularly stressful travel day. Either way, my husband and I had a great experience. Prices are expensive, sure, but that’s expected within an airport. Our server, Skye, was amazing! One of the smoothest and most pleasant experiences I’ve had at a restaurant or bar in a while.

Waitress was rude as hell. Was going to ask if an hour was enough time to get lunch. She snapped at me and then I overheard her slamming me. I walked out and went to founders. DONT GO THERE! Wish I could give negative stars
