Enjoyed the tasting menu during lunch. Every single course was great- my favorites were the ebelskiver, lamb, and caviar with custard. 4 apps, 5 entrees, and 3 dessert courses. Loved that there were multiple dessert courses. Very intimate setting with a chef’s counter and 1 table (16 seats?). No menu beforehand, but gave us copies to take home at the end.

Atera is such a beautiful and intimate restaurant that serves a tasting menu so I had to try it out! One of my favorite parts of the experience was the N/A pairing, it was one of the best pairings that l’ve had. Each drink elevated the dish that it was paired with and also tasted great, my favorite was the raspberry with basil ice cream.

Impeccable – we dined at the table as a group of four and everyone loved the experience. Each dish was perfectly seasoned and beautifully served. Atera continues to be a delightful experience under the steady hand of head chef Ronny Emborg.

Counter dining can sometimes mean lots of elbows; fortunately, this one is large enough to ensure you’re sufficiently secluded, while still letting you enjoy the immersive experience. Danish chef Ronny Emborg and team serve up a menu of courses that progress from light and subtle to rich and robust. Things are certainly grown-up here, with such fully realized dishes as a rye cracker piped with ham and topped with crisped chicken skin; or a potato dumpling smartly dressed with parmesan foam. Paper-thin Wagyu shavings may then be enhanced with a pour of hot dried shrimp bouillon and confit quail egg yolk.

Everything about this place – the food, the people, the ambience – was INCREDIBLE!!! Everyone was GENUINELY nice (not fake nice), and the dishes were exceptional. Plate after plate, we couldn’t get enough of the presentation and the flavor.

Absolutely. Incredible. One of the best meals of my life. Tiny venue, dark and moody. Impeccable staff, befitting of two stars – they nail the details, like recognizing immediately that I’m left handed and placing utensils accordingly. Each course was unique and superb. The food is gorgeous, but I highly encourage taking the two hours to disconnect and just experience the meal; stepping out of the restaurant, I’m still floored.

Atera is the most inventive food experience I have ever had. Every single thing was just spectacular, without exception. The service is pretty formal, but is friendly . The restaurant is cozy and it’s fun to watch the food prep.

Excellent meal worth every penny! You get to see the open kitchen and they barely made any smoke. Great service and presentation of food. Great summer menu and will definitely be back next season.
