I was told to stop by for good pizza while in town. Met the owner Rocco. I ordered a small pie (6 slices) extra cheese and half sausage. A good and tasty combination. Saw some good looking menu suggestions as well. Will try when I’m in town again. Nice addition to Midlothian.

The pizza was cold on pick up. They told me to show up in “50 minutes” because there were other tickets in front on mine. Pizza was sitting in shelf when I arrived.

Ordered the large Special pizza. Excellent pizza with generous portions of toppings. Very quick for pick up. Crust is good but sometimes a little soggy with all the toppings. The crust on the pepperoni pizza is perfect.

Candelas no longer has potato salad and other ingredients on their salad bar and rarely has soup anymore. Yet they charge more than they used to. Their bread is definitely not as good as it used to be. They need to step up their game

I understand being short-staffed and I have empathy for this; however I do expect my order to be fixed if incorrect. Steak was barely present on sandwich, fries extremely hard and taste stale, sandwich was incorrect and when called, no one was available to speak with me that speaks English and thought I was trying to place a new order vs. get my order remade. I eventually gave up, threw food away and ordered somewhere else.

Sadly the place was understaffed. There was ONE waitress doing the best she could. I asked for garlic on my pizza and after waiting 40 minutes for it, I get garlic salt. What pizza/Italian restaurant doesn’t use fresh garlic in their food? It was so salty I couldn’t eat it.

I ordered online and when I made my order there were no descriptions of the toppings on the pizzas. I added several toppings that were already included on the large pizza I ordered. I also ordered a slice of the 7 layer cake. I was called and told that they didn’t have the 7 layer cake anymore and they could replace it with something else and give me the difference back when I picked up my order. I was also told that I over paid for the pizza since I doubled up on the toppings and that too would be refunded to me when I got to the restaurant. This order was about $55, it should have been half of that. When I got there the owner was at the front and I explained to him what happened, and he said WHY to giving a refund back and he disregarded me. So I left with my 1 large $55 pizza and over priced slice of cheesecake that he also said I didn’t get, he had to look for it. My whole order was wrong, I didn’t even get everything I ordered. This is very disappointing especially coming from the owner, I didn’t necessarily NEED my money back but, make it right.. I would have accepted another pizza at another time, something. But now, you’ve lost a customer

Usually the experience here is excellent. Tonight I was horribly disappointed. It was busy and I waited my turn in line behind the people who were there in front of me. I was never recognized by one member of the staff asking me if I wanted to eat in or take out and a family that arrived after me was seated before I was. I fully understand the difficulty of sitting one person ahead of 3 but recognize me first before you do people who came in after me and let me know you will try and find a spot for me as quickly as you can. Since I wasn’t recognized I’m eating my spaghetti somewhere else this evening and I doubt I will be visiting your establishment again for a very long time!
