My friends and I enjoyed trying this new restaurant in Market Square. The drinks were delicious and creative. The food did not disappoint! We tried a variety of different menu items, each one just as delicious as the one before. The service was superb! The waitress took her time explaining each dish and its contents. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a new spot to try some creative and fun food/drinks!

My husband and I decided to check out Alchemy to celebrate our anniversary and we were absolutely blown away by the food and drinks. We ordered the Baby Beet Salad and Pork Belly for appetizers and chose the “Table Cocktail” for our drink since it said it serves 2-4 people. We had no idea what to expect but it was served in a lovely bottle filled with fruits and spices that the alcohol was infused with – it was absolutely lovely to look at and as well as to drink. The beet salad was incredibly inventive, the honey goat cheese ice cream was such a nice touch! For our entrees I got the monkfish and he got the Ribeye and again, both were fantastic. The flavors are so inventive and work together SO well. Since we were celebrating our anniversary, they gave us a choice between a free pour of champagne or a free dessert. We chose the dessert, which turned out to be a delicious banana bread pudding. Alchemy is truly a gem and we already can’t wait to go back!

What a fun dining experience! I loved the tequila cocktail (and you know what? It DOES taste like it could be healthy) and our pork belly appetizer was so flavorful. My husband had the chicken while I had the ribeye. Both were very, very well done and of course, the plating was beautiful.

what a great culinary addition to the pittsburgh food scene! Everything we ate was inventive, thoughtful, SO delicious and beautifully plated! Wonderful service and a really cute, chic vibe! Def reccomend you drop the yinzer expectations at the door! Lol Portions are appropriate & i felt pricing was in line with the high quality food you are getting!

Very mediocre dining experience. Food is good but fall flat in terms of taste. We had the asparagus, monkfish, the duck and two drinks. The so called molecular gastronomy is pretty much just a marketing scheme. For example, the “pomegranate rock” coming with the duck is just pomegranate flavored pop rock candy. It doesn’t enhance the taste of dish at all. Fish is too salty. I was surprised to see monkfish on the menu since I always love it. However none of the other ingredients on the plate goes well with the fish. Overall I don’t think the thoughts and effort they put into the food deserves this price point.

I had a really enjoyable experience. The staff was so helpful and fun. The menu was very creative and different. I had the veal ravioli for appetizer and the scallops for dinner. I would get both again. Definitely looking forwad to going back!
