It was a busy night due to the lighted boat parade. They started running out of food. Instead of letting people know they were running short they served way less (of what they did have) and still charged full price! My son in law literally got 5 fries with his meal, the kids got 1 chicken strip with maybe 10 fries. Ran out of hot sauce that was suppose to come with mine and my daughters meal (street tacos). Husband got no fries or anything with his meal, just chicken. Drinks were tea/sprite. All just under $90.00. Did not even offer a discount for lack of food. To charge full price for half the food in my opinion was just wrong!

I love this please. We took my daughter here after her first layered hair cut to somewhat celebrate. I was sad to see they were experiencing a staff shortage (like everyone else). However, the waitress was great bringing us a free appetizer to compensate for the wait. They kept apologizing about the wait. The food was EXCELLENT as every other time I’ve been there. My absolute favorite is the Gator Basket (ask for the orange sauce). In the past we have feed catfish and baby ducks here right off the back porch eating area.

We started not to stop because the reviews were so mixed but we did and honestly happy. The service was quick. Our waitress, Melissa, was FANTASTIC! Very helpful, polite, attentive, and a great sense of humor. The food came quickly and was hot and tasty. We would recommend and will return on our next trip to town.

First time we went here was Memorial Day Weekend and we loved it. Very unique seating outside over looking the water and boats. Staff was amazing and even took the time out to tell my kiddos if you have any fries left over the fish over there love them. You just can’t beat the atmosphere very family oriented.

We live in the area and have watched it go through many owners. We went to Rockin’ S because it’s on the lake with ambiance. BUT ITS STILL TRULY A NO! FOOD IS, AT BEST, AVERAGE, but often comes over cooked.… AND DUE TO THE, AT BEST, AVERAGE FOOD, PRICING IS GROSSLY HIGH! $20 (Tax Incl) and before tip for a grilled chicken sandwich w/fries that falls well short of a Chick-fil-A grilled sandwich). SERVICE DISORGANIZED and SLOW, SLOW SLOW (But we took care of our server). Food is largely prepackaged fried (I owned and operated a restaurant for 15 years) but some grilled & made fresh. Have a drink on the deck, and watch the boaters but unless you like overpaying for very average to low quality food… Just don’t do it.

The service was great. The draft beer was down and has been so all summer. That is one of the draws for us, and it looks like it will not be working any time soon. The food is OK. It has never had a wow factor for us. We come to rockin s now primarily because we have a boat, it’s on the water and convenient.

We really enjoyed eating outside next to the water. The food was so good! I recommend the strawberry pecan salad. Yum! The presentation was very appealing. The service was wonderful. Our waitress was awesome! She checked on us often. We really enjoyed eating here!

Went here to see a local band we like a lot. Decided to grab dinner before. We were at at a booth. The table was FILTHY. Sauce all over our arms and clothing. Also there were flies. After waiting over an hour for our food, it was cold and wrong. We sent it back. It came back out in less than 5 minutes. How? It was still wrong. Had to literally wave hands up and down to get someone to bring the dressing, as our wait person was again MIA. It was not really busy or even half full. We went to the other side to listen to the band and although we were the only people at the bar, we could not get anyone to serve us (age group 50-70) Wait staff kept spraying tables with awful overwhelming pine soil (I’ve never seen it it used to clean tables) TBH the whole experience was so bad we will never go back.

We decided to give this place a try, we were not disappointed! Food was so good!! Made fresh. Thr French fries are AMAZING! My husband had the burger, huge and so juicy. I had the catfish hoagie, OMG so flavorful. My son had the chicken strip, he said they were the best he had had in a long time.

I walked in today doors were unlocked. Google even said they were open this day of the week and displays hours. I walked in and got the greeting “May I help you?” I said “Um yes..?” “We are actually closed” I asked why because I cannot fathom why a restaurant in a booming city on the water is not open. When I asked her why she rudely explained to me why there are closed. I use to love coming here, but I now will never and recommend everyone to go somewhere else like Stumpys that’s open all the time. Restaurant is pretty pathetic that lady needs an attitude adjustment
