At our Moultrie, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Today on 8-9-2023 at 12:30pm I ordered my usual the Grilled Salmon Dinner at Captain Ds located 1200 1st Avenue SE Moultrie Ga, 31768. I am a loyal customer and the food I buy often is pricey, furthermore, today my food was served to me overly cooked and burnt. I asked the lady manager and staff could I get a new meal with better quality. The manager and kitchen staff was very rude to me, I waited 45 minutes and they served me a second salmon dinner that was more severely burnt and unappetizing. I also heard the manager laughing in the kitchen while the girl on front counter pulled out a cigar rolling it in her fingers while she cursed and laughed with the kitchen staff about how burnt my food was and that I need to go to Burger King and have it my way. Other customers stood nearby looking, this was very humiliating and upsetting, very unprofessional, next, I just got my money back and went to a different restaurant (Chick Fil A) where I was appreciated and served good food with nice quality.

After I paid for my food in the drive thru, I was told that there were several large orders ahead of me and it would take a while. I was told to pull up, park and they’d bring my food out to me. I parked and went in to wait. These are good hard working people at this store but they’re really short staffed. While waiting, I noticed several roaches crawling on the wall, window and floor. My thought was if it’s this bad out here, imagine what the kitchen looks like. Our food tasted fine but I could stop thinking about all the roaches. I don’t think we’ll be back. Again, the staff is great and was really busting it making orders. If you spray for bugs and get these people some help, this will be a great store.

Giant dried up Fish sandwich combo and 6 butterfly shrimp…such a disappointment…12 dried up French fries cooked in old grease …I dont live in moultrie so I don’t have to eat it but yea NO!! THOMASVILLE manager is needed in moultrie ..this was the most nastiest captain d I’ve ever been to..I wish I could get my 9.16 back but I’m gone!

Food was good but the employees needs a strong management leader. I was at the drive thru and was put on hold so the employee can take a personal call which i listen to while I waited to get my order taken but after 5 minutes of waiting i drove round and went inside just to place my order I was very disappointed but I love Captain D’s

I waited 15 minutes for 2 piece fish batter dinner and this is how I receive my dinner presentation awful customer service terrible they decide to do all drive-through take outs and at least 8 people waiting on their food in the lobby I was there 15 minutes an guess how long that other customer was there

Last time I went will probably be the last time I go to ylthis place. sat in drive thru for 10 minutes waitin to order. got tired of waitin so I drove around. there was nobody visible except a customer in the lobby and a worker in the dining room. sat there for a few minutes. no service. so I went inside. there were two customers in the lobby. Both said they had been waiting to order for over 20 minutes. That was the last straw. I always hated to come here because the service is very slow but for the last 4 times I came here service was nearly non existent. I like the food but if you’re hungry you will starve before you get your food.

Service was horrible as typical fast food restaurants are. The food was average in quality has same with the portions. Cooks were extremely slow getting the product out to the customer. Overall if the attitudes of the employees were better I would rate this my higher.
