This place was impeccable! The service was beyond amazing. The atmosphere of the restaurant is so comfortable and warm. And the food!!! The miso soup, salad, sushi sampler is what we started with. Best I’ve ever had. I could eat that soup all day. The Rainbow roll and the bento box were our main meal. Hands down the best in Fort Wayne. We are definitely going back as soon as possible. And it didn’t cost an arm and a leg to eat amazing sushi!

There are many choices competing for your Sushi dollars in Fort Wayne but you will find few that are as satisfying as Sakura on West Jefferson. I don’t believe there is any affiliation with the chain steakhouse and they simply have amazing food. Best sushi in town. Amazing Hibachi too! And today was no exception.

Don’t accidentally order the wrong thing from this restaurant. I accidentally ordered the wrong thing, admitted that I accidentally ordered the wrong thing and asked to order hibachi after learning that they have two different menus when I was only giving one. Workers were allowed to assume that I was not willing to pay for the original meal in addition to the second meal, and I, along with mother and my daughter were told that we could not be served here. A woman who was acting as manager on duty wouldn’t give us a reason and said the owner said we couldn’t be served. I asked for his phone number as she wouldn’t go and get him after saying he was in the back. I continued to ask why can’t we be served the meal we asked for it was admitted by our male server that it had been assumed we wouldn’t pay. When we left I called the owner who was condescending and admitted that in restaurants when a customer sends something back it’s assumed they don’t want to pay for it and that when his workers called him ( as he was not even in the building) it was said to him that they thought we would find something wrong with the second meal and send it back. I rarely write a review. Unless something is horrible. Or great. Unfortunately this was by far my worst sushi experience in Fort Wayne. I’m new to the sushi game. But I’ve a few different spots in southwest Fort Wayne. This place I rate lower than grocery store sushi. We spend $80 dollars and nothing was good. It was eatable but not good. I would choose Meijer or Kroger sushi over this place.

This place has such an amazing atmosphere and caring staff. My boyfriend accidentally ordered the wrong meal and didn’t realize it until he received the food. He asked the server about it and the server offered to swap it out for what he actually wanted. We didn’t want to bother them, but upon the 3rd offer my boyfriend accepted it and they made sure to check on us several times to ensure we were having a good experience. I will definitely come here again!
