the ribs I ordered had a fowl musky smell. I dined in so I actually thought maybe oder was coming from the table or my surroundings. after a few bites of the ribs I was sure it was my food. Never thought barbecue should smell like this. I had eaten 2 ribs and trashed the rest and went to church’s chicken next door. I didn’t get sick but sure did make me a little nauseous. won’t be going back to this location.

I have dickies here and there and they are usually pretty good. Fair price. friendly staff. I went on the 4th of July and right before I walked in a couple was buying a huge family pack. So they said “sorry for the wait we will be with you as soon as possible” they take my order and it did take a while. Which I don’t blame because on top of the orders they had inside they were also getting DoorDash orders. Only have 4 staff members working. What usually takes me 10 mins to get my food, it took 45. But they came up to me twice and apologized for the wait and even threw in a free sandwhich and free sausage. I thanked them. Moral of the story please be patient and have appropriate manner to the staff! And they will always take care of you <3 even if they didn’t. They work hard to provide the best! (This was for the dickies on bosque)

This is the last time stopping here. I got a fully loaded baked potato with brisket and bbq sauce on the side. The potato was nice and large and that’s the only thing nice I can say about it. The brisket was dry and almost tasteless. Definitely no taste once the sauce was added. The potato was Luke warm and the very large chunks of green onion did not have the same effect as chives do when added to a perfect potato. I waited on the road a couple extra hours till we could get here bc I wanted bbq. Definitely NOT worth it. As truck drivers and eating out a lot, we are finding this kind of conundrum at many food places. And the service is no better than the food. This makes no sense to me. The prices are higher and the service and quality are disgusting

Burnt ends- dry and super salty/ pulled pork – dry and no flavor/ ribs- tender, not fresh/ sausage – good/ Baked potato mashed- great/ Mac and cheese – good . Overall I believe the meat was not fresh, meaning cooked today. Would not recommend especially for the cost. $18

I won’t ever order from there again. It was my 2nd time…the 1st one was very very good then this one the brisket was so dry and hard u couldn’t chew it or it was covered in fat. Then they 4got my mac n cheese (I blame doordash 4 that) OH yeah they claim to have TOAST… it’s a square biscuit that is hard as a brick… I don’t get it… the 1st time I ordered it was sososo good… smh… Like I said tho doordash gets half the blame. That’s the last time I give a $5tip b4 I get my order… VERY DISAPPOINTED!

We ordered online and had food delivered to us. We have ate dickeys for many years, and have never had a order so short on sides. Bar b que brisket baked potatoe, was horrible, spud and chop brisket, that’s it. No sides of any kind. Short rib plate, no sides, but mainly no bar b que sauce, Really!!!!!!! We are so mad that your service has dropped so badly.

Where do I start. Do not come to this BBQ place. Lets see out of burnt ends , sausage, coleslaw, green beans, Creamy Spinach, BBQ sauce original. There was more but you get the idea. The lady also had bad attitude. If manager want to know date and time it is 8/4/23 19:30.

I came in for the first time with very high excitement, and enthusiasm. I didn’t know how to order the chicken, so I was pointed in the direction of the menu on the board, it was a busy day, so I will grant them that exception. After looking at board for 5 minutes, without any help, and feeling like a total lover on not finding how to precisely order the chicken with my 3 meat plate, I finally gave up, sincerely never a dickeys bbq customer for life. The staff was friendly. The restrooms were clean which it being attached to a truck stop is a rarity. The lady that took our order was very helpful and let us sample the kielbasa to make sure it was not to spicy. The brisket and pulled pork were delicious. The sides are always yummy too. The inside of the restaurant smelled amazing and was kept clean. The sweet tea was full so we were able to get our fill. We needed to go boxes and the cashier was very helpful with getting them for us along with a bag.

I wish I could do zero starts! I walked up to the counter and waited no one comes. I turn to walk away and realize the the worker is sitting right behind me texting and watching me walk away and never says a word. I am a server and I would never employees actions are a reflection of your business! So I go into the store and get waters come back and finally she is up so I order she barely spoke. Shame on her for treating ppl like they are a bother to her!
