I grew up in Canton and have eaten here for something like 25 years. After living in several other states, I came back to visit family recently and found that this is still my favorite Chinese carry out of all time (nothing authentic about this). The North Country has some real gems and this is one of them.

Traveled to Ogdensburg for funeral and staying in Canton over night. I figured why not some Chinese before they close. The service was fast and the food was cooked fresh and hot when handed to me over the counter only thing I can say is the rice and the sesame chicken didn’t have much of any flavor. The pork egg roll was good and my women said the Crab Ragoons are on point I wouldn’t know because I don’t eat them.

Since Covid we’ve been very disappointed in their food. This was our favorite take out for 25 years, but now their General Tsao is either too hard to chew or too spicy to eat. We ordered chicken balls this week and they were so hard we had to toss them out. I miss the old A-1 kitchen where the food was fresh and consistently the same.

Rudest people ever!! I placed an order to have picked up by someone else and she refused to take my card info over the phone when i was buying not the person picking it up. Not to mention she yelled at me while ordering to HURRY UP!!! Never again!! I’ll drive an hour before i order from them again!
