After gazing around the Central Valley/Woodbury area, coming across “A Better Place Bar & Grill” was a total success! This fine establishment offers authentic American food for the entire family. The place itself is tidy and well-kept, not to mention their lively bar and music. Clean bathrooms and ample parking out front are available. I was thrilled to see the amount of plant based options that they had to offer as well. Our waiter Jake was very polite and helpful when asking for recommendations! He attended us within seconds of being seated, while staying on top of all of our needs. I ended up ordering the Vegan Wings with their creamy plant based blue cheese which was absolutely DELICIOUS! I will definitely be back to make my way around their diverse menu and experience the true American dream!

We went at a weird time, 4:30 PM, so naturally we were the only customers there. Our waiter was attentive & friendly. The food was fine, but not spectacular. I ordered a bean burger with Gouda, & I couldn’t taste much of the cheese at all. My husband had the cowboy burger & said it was serviceable. The fries were crispy & slightly burnt, but we didn’t mind. For the two of us, two burgers, and a beer, we spent about $40 with tip. Overall it was a nice experience for hungry people who wanted a burger.

I came to this restaurant/local bar for the first time yesterday and I’m so glad I did! The server was friendly and incredibly accommodating. He checked up on us throughout our meal and attended to all of our needs in a timely manner. The food was beyond delicious and affordable. I will definitely be returning again soon and highly recommend giving them a visit!

Nice place near Woodbury Commons. Great atmosphere, reasonably priced, clean, and great friendly staff. Ordered some drinks and wings and the wings were on point, made the way we liked them. Can’t remember the name but they have a wing flavor with their maple syrup/bacon and bourbon glaze on them. Holy poop was they good. Overall very nice place, for a family night, guys/gals night out or to bring a date. Highly recommend it, especially if you’re leaving the Commons and would like some real home-cooked food.

Stopped here- the food was excellent- a tough choice when there is a chicken sandwich w smoked cheddar and one with smoked Gouda! One of the best cocktails I’ve had in my life – Laura’s Coconut Mojito- like a refreshing coconut egg cream. I sat amidst decor that was perfect for me- including A Major Award lamp and ram skull. What can I say- a perfect place to stop! The service was outstanding too!

My husband and I were looking for a local spot with great wings, awesome drinks and we found it! I was our first first time and we ordered a Mango Mojitos to start. They were delicious and strong. My husband ordered wings as usual and I had to try one. They were cooked to perfection! I had cowboy tacos and they were amazing. The service was great. We will definitely be back.
