Honestly, the food was horrible. The descriptions of the menu were incorrect. Pasta was over cooked. Seafood was overcooked. They gave you the cheap cheap cheap spaghetti you got in middle school and called it linguine. I was super excited for this place and it was absolutely atrocious. Really a shame. I was embarrassed by the food. I took my family here for a birthday and I can’t express how disgusting the food was. Also the whole bronzino was way too small. Like I had never seen such a small bronzino in my life…. The frozen cioppino from Trader Joe’s is significantly more flavorful with more seafood. CPKs pasta, pizza and salad are of much higher quality with way better recipes and ingredients. This place is a complete disappointment and I have absolutely no idea how it has such a high rating.

What an amazing vibe at this spot. You definitely feel like you’re going out when dining here. We came here for an anniversary dinner and we had great service and the food was delicious. We had a nice spacious booth to ourselves and definitely planned to return to hang out at the swanky bar.

Plenty of parking and new facility – ambience is darker and selection of the menu was great.

Simply amazing food and service. My wife had the Chicken Piccata and I had the Lobster Cobb Salad. Both dishes were excellent! I can see why reservations are recommended.

Classic never goes out of style! A Crystal Cove is an unforgettable evening, my peeps recently celebrated Girls Night (my birthday) and this restaurant is fantastic. The service was spectacular, everything was perfect & beautiful from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Half of us got the Chicken Piccata, it was a hit, you can even swap potato pureefor the Cacio e Pepe to really win!! They also had half off wine when we went on Tuesday open to close, it was such a great surprise!

After hearing so much about the scene and the ‘working class’ that was rumored to frequent the latest addition to the Crystal Cove center, we were a little apprehensive, and at the same time curious to know if all was true. I don’t think our 3 kids had heard the same as they set us up for a much needed romantic date night as their Christmas gift to us. One the of best, most thoughtful gifts we have ever received! And yes, it was a scene for sure, but was near as over the top as expected. Hostesses were super friendly and accommodating when we were 20 mins late for a 715 Friday night reservation. We had a great booth, and loved the decor and ambience. Super lively and well appointed crowd for sure. We had a great server who made some great recommendations, especially the octopus and yellow fin appetizers. I had rack of lamb and my wife had the chick piccata. All of our dishes were EXCELLENT and over all we had one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had in Orange County. The only let down to the night was the experience with the valet. Super unhelpful, and arrogant. Waited out front for someone to address us and when I realized it wasn’t going to happen, walked across parking lot to the valet stand and interrupt the 5 guys and girl standing around doing nothing, as there was no others in line waiting for their car. And then left the car for us about 100 feet from the entrance, didn’t open the door for either of us and pointed to our car to walk to. We don’t have the Rolls Royce or the McLaren that was parked at the entrance, but not a car to be embarrassed by either. I know, quality problems and sounds ridiculous even typing this, but just was a black mark and disappointing end on what otherwise was truly a great night and dining experience.

Classy and chic restaurant located at the beautiful Newport Beach, ambience was so good but the food was average.

Wow wow and more Wow! Really impressed with my first time here. The service/food/atmosphere was on point! Tried the oysters, stuffed zucchini flowers and the rack of lamb. Everything was top! The cous cous that came with the lamb was a great complement. And the lamb portion is huge! Definitely something for sharing. I’m a big fan of the A restaurant on PCH, and this second location is a great compliment!

Came in with the lady and the service was amazing, our server Colby always made sure we had a cocktail and checked up on us all the time. In terms of the cocktails, very balanced tasty drinks with fresh ingredients, which is hard to find in OC. Food was delicious as well, get the bone marrow and lamb ribs, you will not be disappointed. A great addition to the area, I will definitely be back!
