I had the pleasure of eating at A Live Kitchen, vegan and the experience left a lasting impression. From the moment I entered the server Alesha were knowledgeable about the menu, providing recommendations and answering all my questions with a genuine and willingness to assist. The highlight of the evening was definitely the food. Fried rice and cauliflower jerk bbq, Rasta Pasta spicy and peach lemonade were all stand out dishes with a burst of flavors. Highly recommended

Came here from Atlanta and decided to give it a try and I must say everything we ordered was delicious! We ordered the lentil soup, Mac and cheese, Buffalo bites, Rasta pasta, the chop cheese with fries and a shakie! Everything bomb. Will return

I had a great experience at A-Live kitchen… ordered the BLT Avocado wrap. Fresh, crispy, great service. They were short on one ingredient when I ordered and called to verify substitute which was awesome. Definitely would return if I lived closer!

I came in here because my daughter was under the weather and I was trying to find a good lentil soup. I haven’t ordered from here in years and when I looked up lentil soup they popped up and decided to give it a try. Little did I know it was going to be for the worse. The young lady was laughing and giggling while on her phone. I asked for for cauliflower bites and the red lentil soup ( which was also supposed to be the soup of the day) She rung up my order and I was confused as why it was so high. I then asked her if the cauliflower bites don’t come by itself and she said yes and she said is that what you wanted and I said yes. She then tried to persuade me that the fried rice is really good and her favorite but I insisted I just wanted the bites. The cook seemed very nonchalant as she said forget the fried rice and he proceeds to say well I made it anyway. She then says we’ll I’m going to eat it regardless. Then a customer comes in looks at the food that was placed and goes up to look and breathe on the food. No one asked her to wait until they had her order ready. Then I come home open the soup and it’s more broth than anything and undercooked chickpeas. Then the large soup is highly overpriced. I could’ve gotten a bigger soup at another vegan place for $6 Highly disappointed **the last pic is a pic from a review with actual lentil soup**

One of the best burgers I’ve had in a while. The chef knows what hes doin! The seasoning on the fries was great, a little garlicky but tasted great so I inhaled my food. The service was quick and the cashier was very kind even though I showed up not long before closing. If you’re in the area, check them out!

oh.my.god. I dont know why this place didnt pop up on my radar sooner! this seems to be like a small family owned / black owned business. you can clearly see everyone is lovingly making your food fresh to order. aka there is a bit of a wait until your food comes out, but it is SO WORTH IT. I had the tuna melt and it was THE BEST chickpea-based sandwich I ever had. We got the cauliflower wings (jerk bbq) SO AMAZING, a beautiful cesar salad with a killer dressing that made me excited to eat salad again, after 7 years of veganism. the only “weak” thing for us was the empanada, but that’s cuz my fiancé and I arent huge fans of whole wheat shells. we also got the cookies and cream cake and H0LYSH!T YOU GUYS it was so rich and decadent! we couldn’t even finish it. staff is so friendly and the prices are actually quite low compared to a lot of other places. this food could easily match the hipster Brooklyn vegan joints that charge nearly twice as much. so leave bigger tips!!! I cannot WAIT to go back and keep trying more food!
