Let me start by saying that I LOVE this place! The home cooking and nightly specials are my faves! The interior hasn’t changed for years but it is so familiar and welcoming that it hasn’t needed to change! That said, we were told that they will be closing for needed renovations next month. The kitchen grill was putting off a bit too much smoke, making our last dinner slightly alarming. I’m counting the days until we can visit again in the newly renovated restaurant and bar! ♥️♥️♥️

Food was very good, I had the Blackened Chicken with Green Beans and Fried Okra, my wife had the Fried Shrimp with Baked Potato and Mac -n- Cheese. We had the Queso for an appetizer…. The service was very good also the waitress staff was very friendly and efficient.

Screaming kids, parents not caring. 45 mins to be seated, and a hamburger with Mac n cheese took an additional hour. Mac n cheese was high school cafeteria quality, burger was lower quality than burger king. Your money is better spent at McDonald’s. At least staff was polite.
