One of the best braised taiwanese braised pork (5/5) second only to Antidote in NYC. The pork has intense soy and umami flavor while also being tender, fatty, and very filling. They also give you an extremely excellent portion for only $8 – what a deal. The people here who work here are also so sweet. I highly recommend!

Such an authentic and homey experience! We got the braised pork and the beef noodle soup, and both dishes tasted absolutely amazing. The grandma that runs the place is so welcoming and she made us feel right at home.

So my daughter saw the reviews so she went to get dinner here. She bought the braised pork and the beef Noodle Soup. Omg, let me just say that it was amazing! The pork melted in your mouth! The beef soup was great as well, the meat was tender, and the the portion was good . I very much recommend people to come and enjoy the food

We had a 10/10 experience at A-Pou’s. Garlic eggplant with white rice was tender and sweet. Beef and noodles soup was very yummy. Sesame ball with red bean we didn’t get a picture but it was sooooo crispy and sticky and perfect! Also the staff is very caring-Thank you!!

If you wanna try some Taiwanese local food, this restaurant is definitely among the top choices in my opinion. I specifically recommend crispy chicken because it’s an interesting comparison between that and other American fried chicken. There won’t be any risk by ordering it cause everyone loves fried chicken already. And of course, I didn’t try everything, but food like beef noodles, roasted beef and stuffed bitter melon were all very authentic to me. More importantly, A-Pou treats every customer like her own family members, very hospitable and friendly. Really recommend it!

As a Taiwanese, I have high hopes for this restaurant since they have such good reviews. Unfortunately, they are not as good as I hoped. Their famous potstickers are okish, taste is fine but kinda dry. I suppose got 5 potstickers but only got 3 and they put 2 dumplings as exchanges, but this 2 dumplings are very dry and have a “old/leftover food” taste. The Crispy Chicken is horrible, dark, very dry and hard to chew. Spring Rolls are not as good as you find in Thai restaurant, but I didn’t expect much anyway. Taiwanese Braised Pork Over Rice is ok, but same as other food,

This place too lit. Never heard a taiwanese lady speak Spanish like that. Also never seen so many Mexican ppl including myself loosing it to some fire food. Woke ppl take notes, this what it takes to be an ally.
