Uncooked turkey meat; I went back to show staff and all they did was argue with me about “me just not liking them” and them letting me know they were turkey meat and not regular Italian meatballs. Turkey I understand but NOT FULLY COOKED then argue with me in the store instead of just trying to resolve the issue. Horrible.

We have been stopping by A TASTE of DISTINCTION at least once or twice a week sine they opened their doors for business in Pomona. In all that time we have never had any complaint with either the quality of the wonderfully prepared dishes or the pleasant and friendly service provided by the late owner Angela or her family and staff. The food is always fresh, delicious and plentiful and that includes the chicken, fresh fish dishes, fritatas and the great choice of sides always available. The baked goods are too good, especially the scones and fruit filled pocket pies. Eat-in or take out and you will never be disappointed. We have catered large family dinners and luncheons over the years as well as enjoying suppers for just us two. The wonderful new management have carried on the traditions of Angela and her sister. (Just one request if you are reading this and plan on stoping in…leave the chicken wings for me).

Used to love this place..especially their fresh salads and oatmeal cookies that I sinfully ate way too often. Went the other day and there were THREE ladies there, not ONE said hello. When I inquired about salads because they are normally visible as you make your way to the back, one lady acted like I was bothering her with my inquiry. In these days when many businesses are trying to stay afloat, I’d think they’d be more welcoming.

I’ve ventured here for lunch a number of times. Very friendly staff. Cute, down-home country-like environment. I’ve ordered a particular sandwich just the way I like it, btw, and it always fails to disappoint. I’ve also ordered grilled chicken and vegetables as breast isn’t a part of my current eating plan. No dissatisfaction or disappointment with that either. Nice variety of sandwiches and foods in the enclosed, refrigerated counters. Not self serve, and that’s fine with me! Always a good experience. Highly recommended. Psst…try the #4 sandwich with roasted peppers…divine!
