Nice little spot. I really hate to be that person, but we eat out a lot. Okay they have potential, but I paid $17 for a plate of disappointment. The Baked Chicken was flavorful, but over cooked. The Beef Stew was bland and tuff. The Black Eyed Peas were good. The Collard Greens were descent. The Rice was rice, meaning nothing to remember. Now the Cornbread was meant to be decorative, because it was overcooked with the taste of a baking pan. The Dressing was the worst! It was like they mixed everything together put it in the oven for 5 minutes and served it. I guess I read wrong and it said Dressing Soup.

Went here today (7/24/2022) and I just love the atmosphere of the owners and staff. Super sweet. The food was amazing I had the fried pork chops, collards greens, and Mac n cheese. Would eat here again.

I had been driving to Sylvester to go to Jackson’s but no more. This place is nearly as good and much closer. One hint though, go during the week when the prices are way lower than they are on the weekend. Also, I’m a good sized man who weighs 275 pounds. One serving lasts me two complete meals and it takes a lot to fill my tank

The food was amazing. I got the smothered chicken, Baked macaroni and cheese, sweet peas, chicken Stuffing, roll and pound cake. The staff was so sweet and the restaurant was very clean and welcoming. Thank you all. I will Definitely be bringing my family back with me next time

First time there. The staff was very friendly. Very clean and a beautiful atmosphere. Only thing my dessert didn’t get in my bag. But I called and I can pick it up another day. The food was great. I will definitely return.

Ate there for lunch a couple day ago. The owner greeted me, was very courteous and beautiful. I had the meatloaf and mashed potatoes with green peas. It was excellent. I will be sure to stop there as I travel from Valdosta to Culumbus. I would recommend anyone traveling through that area to stop and have some good southern cooking.
