I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time. Last night I had the opportunity to do so with my coworkers as we celebrated 3 Leo’s birthdays. Food was very good. Service was on par. The Guac trio was delish and the salsa’s each have their own flavor which I really like and enjoyed. The server was great and they lit up three candles on two desserts which they comped for our bdays! It was such a great end to the evening of good food and company. The tres leche cake is the bomb.

I’ve been coming here since they had the other location in Geneva back in 2011. This mexican restaurant is completely different from the authentic typical restaurants that you find everywhere. Food is made by professional chefs and you can tell. This isn’t the place for you if you like to complain about small portions and pricey food. They offer tapas-like portions and are decently priced. The environment is welcoming and relaxing, although sometimes a little loud, but not an issue if you come to gather and catch up with friends. Services is great and servers are very knowledgeable on menu suggestions and daily specials. Highly recommend !

A Toda Madre has excellent food. Their tacos are delicious and the flavors of the sauces and salsas they put on the tacos is what elevates their taste beyond the tacos you would get elsewhere. Cocktails are really good and creative. The food and drinks are a bit pricey, but I think it’s worth it, particularly for a date or if entertaining friends or celebrating a special occasion. Service is friendly and attentive. The restaurant has a lively vibe, which is fun, but it can be quite loud at times and in certain areas of the restaurant, so you won’t be having intimate conversations here.

This place is SO good! Looking for some delicious tacos and sassy, flavorful margaritas? This is the place for you! Great for a girls night or a date night. The atmosphere here is fun and bright! The staff is super helpful and attentive. I can’t say enough about the food and the drinks! Make sure you get the guacamole of the day! Looks like they are building up an outside patio, looking forward to that! After you visit, make sure to walk around down town Glen Ellyn and check out their little cute shops too! Totally worth it! Can’t wait to come back!

Visited with girlfriends. It was a relaxing vibe on a weekend. Food was good. After we got our food and drinks the service dropped off and we were had to stay wishing we had ordered more because by the time we were able to flag down our waitress we were ready to leave.

Fresh, delicious food… beautiful space… friendly staff. We ordered a bit of everything and shared – guacamole, ceviche, esquites, shrimp tacos, and avocado tacos. The “Viva La Vida” watermelon margarita was especially refreshing on this hot day!

It was a very enjoyable evening. We had the Elote dip and bien trucha, shared that along with Playero. We were very happily satisfied. We also ordered potatoes, beans and rice which were really good but probably added a couple of pounds. We sat outside as it was a very nice evening, enjoyable and service was not deminsioned in my opinion. Covered area off the North which even in rain is usually a good bet.
