My son and I opted for the Hibachi experience. The chef engaged the audience and was very friendly. The waitress came to the table chewing something which nearly fell on to the plate. She was friendly enough but I didn’t like that she told me about the additional charge to items that I ordered but she didn’t mention it to the other patrons. It felt as if she assumed that I couldn’t pay. Since it wasn’t busy when we arrived the other waiters stood around staring at us. It felt awkward. In all fairness, I went in with a hoody that I didn’t take off and slides. I’ll assume they didn’t think I could afford to pay. With that said, I forgot to take the pictures of the other items that were ordered as well. They add an 18% gratuity to all meals; ours came to $140. The bathroom smelled awful (not like poop) and doesn’t allow you to open the door without touching the handle which is counter productive when you’re washing your hand to eat. The food was pretty good and I’d return; however, hopefully not to the same waitress.

We arrived and were told it was 25 minute wait. This was 8pm on a Tuesday night. We were seated and a drink order was taken and our salad and soup came out. We then sat in our seats for 1 hour waiting on a chef. When we asked we were told there were only 3 chefs and it would only be a bit longer. We never got our food done until 10pm – we asked for no show so we could get it quickly. The chef was pleasant and tried to accommodate us. The main wait staff was rude and should have told us it would be more than 2 hours. We could have gone somewhere else. We didn’t even get a discount or complimentary appetizer, drink or dessert.

Jeff woo was the best cook that I’ve had, and I’ve been there plenty of times. Service was good and Jeff engaged with us the whole time. One of the best cooks !

Food was delicious, dining area was spacious, however the bathroom could use an upgrade. 1 stall was out of order, and the 2 remaining stalls did not have locks on them.

Good food. Great atmosphere. Nice portions. Can’t afford to eat here every night but I’ve not had a bad meal here. It’s a shame the front bar wasn’t open while we waited for a spot to eat. Edit, front bar is now open again.

If you go and want a quality chef who also happens to be a standup comedian, ask for Jeff Woo. This guy was hysterical and made us the best/freshest Asian food we’ve ever had. If you’re not adventurous order the chicken or shrimp hibachi. This was my first time at a hibachi place. Tipping: If you want to do it right, you’ll be tipping twice. our guy was great, I handed him 40 cash on the spot, as he finished cooking. Then if you have a large party gratuity is also added to the bill/you’ll tip on the bill too. Yeah that’s a big tip, but felt appropriate considering the great experience we got. Jeff Woo and the others worked hard for us, I only regret not having left more. Everything happened quickly too, as drinks got low, refills were offered. We were also fed a few extra pieces of shrimp and free shots from his squirt bottle. Trust me don’t be guarded, say yes to everything he offers you. We laughed the entire time, took some pictures and are still talking about it. This is just a recommendation on tipping, obviously you do what you can afford, and what’s right for your party. Jeff woo is the guy you want.

My very first time checking this Japanese Steakhouse. They have hibachi room just for that and they also have a seperate room for if you want to eat sushi, steak and bento boxes. I went there after lunch yesterday around 1pm. It’s nice because it was just me and my bff and another diner. The room is not very large. We did not feel rushed at all. We were dining for 2 hrs. I had their unagi sushi it’s very fresh and the sushi rice is done perfect. The chicken tempura not so much. I did not enjoy. I also ordered gyoza very crispy i will order that again. I also ordered vegetable tempura as an appetizer. I like the tempura batter frm the veggies. My fave is the zucchini tempura not overcook.
