They were out of three items we tried to order. We ended up ordering 2 sandwiches that took almost 45 minutes to come out and the restaurant wasn’t even full. They do have games out on the tables to play while you wait, which is nice, but insufficient for the ridiculous wait time for food.

We stumbled across this local restaurant. It is easy to miss since it is tucked away on the southeast corner of the square. Indiana themed decor, chalk board menu, indoor and outdoor seating. They offer a variety of home-cooked meals.

Great little breakfast place. Small hometown with warm welcome when you walk inside. Comfortable seating. You order at counter, get your empty coffee cup and fill it as many times as you want. I had the Square Breakfast (2 eggs over easy, 2 pieces of bacon, half order of biscuits and gravy, and a small cup of pineapples). My friend had a full order of biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon and couldn’t finish it all. Great taste and not a bad price. Check out the menu and stop by to give them a try.

The local Chamber of Commerce suggested Aaron’s as a good place for lunch, and I was not disappointed!

So many positive reviews, so we were so hopeful for a great local lunch stop. My family of 5 ordered from the apathetic kid behind the counter, who got the order wrong, then sent the ticket back to the kitchen, warning the cook “big order!” The burgers came out in about 20 minutes and were completely cold before the 2 personal pizzas came out, 10 minutes later. We were the only customers in the place and had to go to the counter to ask for things several times (utensils, condiments ). The food was atrocious. There’s no other way to say it. It was school cafeteria level food. We considered the possibility that the rubber hamburger patties were just microwaved to a slight warm. They still had manufacturing/processing marks on them and zero seasoning. The buns were toasted crispy like a cracker, yet somehow still not burnt. The cheese on the pizzas wasn’t fully melted. Even teenage boys didn’t bother finishing them.

On a Friday evening we waited 45 minutes for a12 inch pizza and was told it still wasn’t done. We had to leave and they was upset due to our witnessing of the cook rubbing his nose while making foods .

So let me start this review by saying we were very bummed to find almost every coffee shop and restaurant in downtown Rockville closed for Labor day breakfast……until we stumbled upon Aaron’s on the square. The staff was more than accommodating and pleasant. The food was absolutely delicious. The coffee was strong and delicious. They even upon request prepared some scrambled eggs for our pooch Stevie who had ran out of food this morning. We came to Rockville for a long Labor day weekend and discovered a gem of a restaurant we will absolutely frequent on future trips .

Some of the best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had and great service, too. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially for breakfast!

Super fast, even during the covered bridge festival. Ordered full plate of biscuits and gravy which was under $8. Owner and employees were very nice. Made sure everyone had what was needed and checked on us each time they brought out an order. Wish I would have been able to eat lunch there. Was recommended by Debra and Patti at the Jail Inn! Great place to eat.
