Recently moved closer to here, never had Abacus before, first time, but the service was great. I ordered the sesame chicken, lo mein and my mom got the won ton soup with an egg roll, and it was like gourmet quality, like home made Chinese food. All white meat, with no fat, sesame chicken, was the best I ever had in my life! I will be ordering again very soon.

Abacus has been great for years — mooshu pork, garlic shrimp with seasonal vegetables, egg rolls, wonton soup, egg drop soup. Also love their often daily special crab Rangoon!

Delightful food, pleasant staff. Have been going to this restaurant since the mid-1980s. Joe may be gone, but the quality is still there. But I do wish my waiter would tell me that the special is so good that the noise I heard from the parking lot was patrons screaming because it was so good.

Absolutely delicious! I ordered salmon steamed with ginger sauce and it was perfect. I’ve never had any disappointments from this restaurant, always fresh, delicious, and accommodating. The best thing about Abacus, other than the food is the customer service. I have medical diet restrictions and they are always happy to prepare my order without any issues; no dish ordered has ever been compromised in taste or quality.

This restaurant has definitely gone downhill in the past several years. I recently ordered takeout and was treated very rudely by the younger man who checked me out. And the food I ordered (shrimp with vegetables) was so dry – almost no sauce – and almost no veggies other than broccoli. I will NEVER eat there again!

This is the absolute worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. There was nothing that was even close to being good. The fried rice wasn’t even edible. The shrimp and broccoli was gross. Not even the egg roll was very good. I never do these ratings things but when you are paying good money to eat out you expect something decent at least. I wouldn’t feed that food to my dog!
