We are working in this area for the week and thought it was time to try this establishment. I know there is one near our house and I have never tried it. I was pleased to find out there was no meat in the veggies. I will just get the veggie plate next time for the fish which is the only meat I eat is not the best quality of fish. I thought the spicy broccoli was pretty darn delicious. I will say the staff was friendly and the place was clean. I most likely will eat here again at some point before I go back to St.petersburg Florida.

We ate here on one of our last days on vacation. Great southern food and the corn bread is to die for. There really is a difference between Midwest BBQ and southern BBQ. I’ll take the southern any day of the week.

My mom got the fish sandwich. It was a fillet on a piece of wheat bread. The sandwich was tightly wrapped almost like a hot dog and the sauce made the bread soggy. The broccoli casserole was rice and cheese with a bit of broccoli. Neither was hot. It’s a restaurant. Not a backyard fish fry…USE A BUN!

To the rude cashier with the hello kitty cell phone in your back pocket. You made an extremely offensive comment regarding a drive thru customer’s order they wanted corrected. I was standing there at the front counter and I know you were fully aware of my presence. Your rude disrespect for the elderly couple in the drive thru was not heard by them but it was by the 57 year who was inside the restaurant at the front counter. The on my F’n G was uncalled for. I’d there order was wrong in there opinion then so be it. If you are grace to see 40 you will see understand exactly how disrespectful your actions to where.

Large caucasian male manger is racist, along with some of the worker. He was upset because I asked for crust in cobbler. I mean that’s a cobbler, right? He gets so mad when you have an issue. He figured because I was a woman he would intimidate me. No. I gave him the same thing he gave me. He also threw my money down! Very disrespectful to African-American women

I used to love dining at this restaurant. More recently on normal visit, I saw catfish on the menu. I asked before ordering if in fact it was catfish and was told yes. I took one bite and knew instantly it wasn’t catfish but In fact swai fish. Swai fish is native to Vietnam and considered to be very unhealthy fish. I can get past the unhealthy part a bit but the fish has no taste and it’s crazy chewy. Horrible to taste. It’s not catfish!
