C’mon in and get some lip smacking, belly filling, delicious breakfast! We had to wait a little bit, but it was definitely worth the wait! Our server, Brenda, put the restaurant experience over the top. She was kind, helpful and attentive! We chose not to order the breakfast buffet although it looked very very popular. My husband ordered the pork chops and eggs with biscuits and gravy. The pork chops were cooked to perfection seasoned perfectly, and not dry. The biscuits were hot, fresh and fluffy. We saw lots of bikers outside, so we knew the food had to be good. Don’t let the line fool you. They move quickly and you won’t want to miss this locally owned restaurant. I ordered the Belgium waffle and it was delicious. Pictures weren’t that great because we started eating! Make this a stop for you and your loved ones!

I went here this morning at 6:10am with my Cousin for the Breakfast Buffet and it was the best Breakfast I have ever had at a restaurant everything was so good and fresh, The Best choices and multiple choices of one thing two different hams, Grits and Gravy, It was like having breakfast at a relatives house in the country! The server was super nice and even brought me ranch and a to go cup of Dr. Pepper, Decor was perfect even the statue of the Clark Superman I will definitely be back for breakfast again! I highly recommend this place everything was perfect! If your are traveling through Morganton STOP by and eat you will not regret it!!

The food and buffet are incredible. I had the Bleu cheese and mushrooms steak and it was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Our server, Darlene, was just perfect; Attentive and prompt and friendly. The interior of the restaurant is fascinatingly decorated in a maximalist way. If you want good home-cooking style food, Abele’s is a great choice.

They have a huge salad bar and the food bar is four or five bars. The food bar is all you can eat and then you have your choice of 5-6 types of meat that they cook for you and bring to the table. I had the pot roast. It completely filled a regular size plate. Son had pork steak same thing. It was all delicious. Wonderful service. Will return the next time through.

Endless breakfast buffet and endless vegetable bar along with salad dar. Great place for the hungry family who wants a healthier option than fast food. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They also know a few extra tips about ordering from the hot bar menu

1st time 2 visit. I had Belgium waffle, Strawberries, whip cream. It was excellent. The waitress was very friendly. Food was hot. Her ervice was also excellent. Really enjoyed my waffle. Will definitely visit again.
