Price but good. Only tried smoked albacore bruchetta. The martini was weak, i wish it had blue cheese olives. Nice environment. Good service. I

We had an amazing night here with our friends. Food was stunning and presentation was fabulous. We were really lucky and got a table by the kitchen. Watching top-notch chefs cook food and prepare dishes was like watching a big show. Very memorizable. I gave four stars only because the table service could better to make our tabletop more organized.

Very pleasant place to dine al fresco, with a small menu of innovative modern Italian cuisine. The pasta is toothsome and tasty and the hanger steak was (chef’s kiss) wonderful. If you’re going to the theater after make sure to give yourself a good couple hours to enjoy yourselves. Our server, Nadja, was a delight!

Great food! They have a rotating menu because they have different chef’s every few months. I had a chicken dish that was amazing. The chef stopped by our table and told us that the recipe belongs to her mother in law. It was all so good. It’s a little weird right there on the patio in front of the Mark Taper Forum. But great place for food and drinks before your show

New restaurant at the newly remodeled Downtown Music Center. Current chef Shirley Chung features Chinese American cuisine. 4.5 stars overall, great staff, good drinks, and tasty food. Came here on opening night with my fiance and had a wonderful time.

The service was EXCELLENT! Gosh we loved every worker who we interacted with. So polite, friendly, and accommodating. We just had 45 minutes to eat something before the show and they treated us so quickly and efficiently. The restaurant is beautiful, streamed lined minimalistic decor. We had the salad, which was a bit flavorless (please note), and the fried chicken. The latter was superb. We will be back! Thank you guys. Pics taken with Pixel 4xl

Abernethy’s is amazing!!! This is the new restaurant at The Music Center and it’s super unique because the chef/ cuisine is scheduled to change every 3 months. The first chef is Shirley Chung and, as we know from top chef and Ms. Chi, her food is INCREDIBLE! I’m 100% obsessed with the citrus radish, baby carrots and kung pao tofu. I’m pescatarian and there were a lot of menu items that fit my dietary needs, as well as plenty for my vegan and gluten free friends as well. Can’t wait to try what’s next!

Very good food. Wandered in because we were an hour early for a show at the Ahmanson. The manager is a bit touchy. We went to the hostess, who responded to my question “if there’s no room at the bar, you can certainly stand and have cocktails”. My boyfriend was eager to sit down.. and it was so noisy in there, that it was hard to convey to him that it is not a good idea to pick a random table without being seated.. as well, hostess said we could sit at one of the tables outside next to a heater. We saw two available seats at bar, on other side and Manager was kind of hovering over us.. Said we needed a reservation for those seats and told us to stand in front of their register He also didn’t understand that I didn’t want the cocktail ‘to go’, that we were going to sit outside per what the hostess said. He seated us under the tent, which was fine. But brought my cocktail ‘to go’, in a plastic cup. (I hate plastic. Especially with alcohol in it, not exactly healthy). I explained “what’s this?” He became tense and stern with me. And said “that’s why I brought it to you like that, because ‘you’ said you wanted it to go. – I will go ahead and transfer your ‘drink’.. Ouch! I wanted to ask for another drink in glass, but whatever. The way he behaved.. He was hovering everywhere in the restaurant and a little too active for a restaurant manager. It is hard to hear inside. He could have been more patient. I smiled at him later on in the night, to calm him down like “life ain’t that bad”, and his head just turned like “I would be road raging you if I wasn’t a manager here”.
