After years of driving past there, I decided to try it and man, was it a great idea! Good coffee, cheap food, but it’s large portions you get. The only thing I wish they did different was toast the buns first. I guess if you ask they would do it.

A great little diner with great prices. I got 2 eggs over easy, hash browns, 3 sausage links and toast for $6.25. The eggs were cooked to perfection. I am not a big hash brown fan, but ate everyone at Abner’s. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The also serve burgers and have a daily dinner special for each day of the week. A definite hidden gem in Dayton.

Good old hometown cooking is exactly what ya get. The good ol boys are watching out for ya after they get their kicks. Bathroom was locked and they were watching me try to enter then they got the key to let me in.

Just awful…I walk in and no more sitting down and eating…looks like a place for dog kennels not human services.. food or otherwise…matter fact , I wouldn’t put my poor dog in there…what really happened? Another east side place to gather gone…
