It’s easy to see why Aca Taco keeps winning BEST OF CHICO status. The food here is authentic, fresh, and flavorful! So good! The burritos are huge, the tacos are filling, and the nachos are loaded. If you like Jamaica, gives theirs a try you won’t be disappointed. Don’t worry if there’s a line when you get there, the service is quick and staff is friendly. If you love Mexican food you’ll definitely love Aca Taco.

Overpriced ,small portions. Very bland food . Complementing tomatoes and onions with avocado is not Guacamole. 30 dollars for 2 burritos is just wrong. Fresh doesn’t cost that much lmao . Taco truck here we come .

Its a rip off. Over ten dollars any burrito now, even paid for guacamole and you get a burrito 90 percent rice and beens, half a spoon of guac, and a spoon of whatever meat you ordered. Pretty pathetic

Great spot for NorCal Mexican food. Kind of wish they adopted some socal options like California burritos. 2 pints of beer for 5 bucks was a nice deal.

Been coming here for 7+ years and recently it has really fallen off. Like people say, their burritos are just full of rice no matter which one you get, and it’s no longer worth the money.

As with most locals, I’ve frequented this establishment for sometime. After being gone for a couple years, I decided to stop in & order lunch. I was not disappointed. Still that delicious taste that made it a Chico staple for sometime. In the many years my family and I have gone to Aca Taco, we have never had a bad experience. Glad to see it’s just as good now, as it was 10 years ago.

Hands down my favorite Mexican food in all of Chico. The rice and beans the do so great compared to most Mexican Food restaurants, it reminder me of home when you take the extra effort to make the food authentic, or when grandma does it the right way. Their other meats are seasoned and cooked perfectly. Only downside is this place is cash only so bring plenty of cash so you can try a little of everything. Be warned if you get there burrito you won’t have room for anything else! Cheers and enjoy of of Chicos finest downtown.
