I had to try some Gumbo and Oysters as soon as I settled in. Oysters were fresh & huge! Their house old bay had a touch of different spices and it was so good. First time trying NoLa Gumbo, it was really good shrimp and sausage and the perfect touch of heat to it. Definitely my #1 gumbo in Nola so fat and some of the best oysters!

Phenomenal food! Would not recommend the oyster shooter as they clearly used wells vodka – an experience none the less though.

Acme Oyster House will normally have a line to get inside and with good reason. This is a true, old school New Orleans oyster house. Not only do they serve delicious raw, chargrilled and fried oysters they have most of the creole favorites as well. The experience is ALMOST as good as the oysters here.

Great restaurant right off Bourbon street. Service was great and friendly. We ordered the chargrilled oysters, shrimp poboy, seafood plate, gumbo, red beans and rice, alligator, and Boo fries. The gumbo could have been better but the chargrilled oysters more than made up for it. They are awesome. We will return for more.

We waited for a chance as we passed, and finally stood in line. It was a long line, but surprisingly our turn came around quickly. We chose the bar table and that was enough. I ordered half a dozen each of charcoal grilled and raw oysters and seafood gumbo and it was delicious!

We had raw oysters, charred oysters, etoufee, and red beans and rice…all were delicious!! The house cocktail sauce has more horseradish than usual cocktail, but it is amazing!! Service was fast and super friendly, our server was a real southern sweetheart. Would definitely go again!!

Even though the line was long to get in and they were closing early, they still got us in within a decent amount of time. Food was served hot and delicious. We had chargrilled oysters, fried alligator for starters and they did not disappoint. For entrees, we had the New Orleans Medley and the half and half platter with fish and shrimp. Both were delicious and came out in a timely manner.
