We’ve eaten here several times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Great food as long as the regular cook is there, otherwise not so great (only been there twice when it was not the regular cook). Service is inconsistent, although it’s the same people. Sometimes when they are not even busy it takes forever to get a menu and beverage (we’ve waited 10 minutes plus). Sometimes when they are busy this happens right away! Sometimes the food sits too long waiting to go to the table or the waitress picks it up but stops to chat with someone on the way to the table so food is not always hot once received. Getting a refill on a cup of coffee is almost non existent and the cups are very small. Getting the check is consistently slow and usually you have to flag them down or go up to the counter. However, very cool bar and atmosphere! We usually wait months between visits because of these issues but only so many choices in a town this size.

I love this place. I just wish the laws allowed minors in for breakfast. Surely the establishment wouldn’t mind minors in here before 11am. I was gonna bring all the kids for breakfast tomorrow but then I realized I can’t. Bummer. No one is drinking here at breakfast, for Pete’s sake.

This is a tavern so you must be 21 to enter and dine. They were very busy at 1115 am. Breakfast ends at 11. We had soup and sandwich and the chicken rice soup was very tasty. A little on the noisy side .

Came here after work because a friend recommended we stop for a bite. Acorn Saloon & Feeding Station had good food and service but are 21+ so one of friends couldn’t have dinner. Otherwise the French Dip was good but not much food. Had a Caramel Apple Pie with hot whiskey and it was great. We will stop here again when we are in town.

a few days ago i ordered 2 taco salads for pick up. got home and me and my daughter dug all the way to the bottom and there was no meat. for their prices for a taco salad and we got no meat is a rip off. i went there and the people behind the bar walked by me several times and just looked at me. then finally someone walked over to me and asked how they could help me.
