Was recommended by a good friend. Was a cute little spot , we usually don’t do Valentines day here but we wanted to try something new. The atmosphere could of had more love put in but not sure if was set up that a special.way cause it was valentine’s day. Food was mediocre. We had a Cesaer salad, needed more dressing but easy fix right. The clam chowder had too much flour for me, so that was a no. We both ordered lasagna because of the prefix menu. I thought it was odd that there was no chicken pasta but to each their own. The noodle for the lasagna were housemate and you can taste it but the meat in the sauce was too salty for my likings. Overall I feel if given the option to order from their menu, their would be better option. Unfortunately this experience elwas expensive and enough tasted to not explore again .

The food was great. The place looks clean and the servers were very attentive. I didn’t like that we park far from the restaurant and when we arrived we were told the waiting was about 20 minutes but when we ask if can sit at the bar while waiting they said “yes, and the waiting is 50 minutes now.” However the food is worth it. It is in downtown town Hayward. It seems a little romantic so if you trying to be romantic and impress your date that will be a place to go. Recommend 100%.

The service was very poor. The shrimp scampy was Luke warm. Probably the chef put the plate up when it was hot. By the time the waiter picked up the plate and brought to the table wasn’t hot. The waiter had bypassed our table as thou we weren’t even seated. The waiter didn’t even stop by to make sure our food was ok or if we needed anything else. I had to get his attention so I could see the desert menu.Desert looked like hands were used to help cut out and put it into a Togo box. I asked for the bill and still wasn’t asked how the food was. The waiter disappeared as if he didn’t even care, so I and my guest got up and went to the bar area to pay for the meal. Your waiter staff needs to be trained a little better to represent your restaurant to the highest quality standards.
