On a bit of a whim we ended up at Acquaviva. We had been to the winery & restaurant out in Maple Park previously and knew it to be good. We showed up at 6:30 to dine in and were greeted and seated right away. The menu and specials are Italian and seafood. We ordered the baked clams for an appetizer, the stuffed shrimp special and veal Marsala. Timing was a bit off on the shrimp showing up at the table but everything was great. Good service in these strange post-covid times and really good entrees. Cannot ask for more. Pricing seems a tad high but not bad for this elegant restaurant.

We needed a place to celebrate an anniversary that was local and nice but not overly fussy. This place was perfect. We ordered both calamari starters as well as shrimp- all were the perfect way to start off our meal.
