Fantastic coffee shop! I love the space and ambiance here. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and fun to talk to! I tried a lemon blueberry gluten free scone and chai tea. Wow! I’d highly recommend this place!

Overall, it was a great first visit. A decent used book collection, and my chai tea latte was perfect.

Was recommended this place and was hyped up. But that’s the privilege with hype for me. It never meets my expectations. Great place. Wish it was bigger. I appreciate the mission of the owner. I appreciate this place existing. It’s heart warming to have a space for reading, art, and culture. I was disappointed in my coffee though. Ordered a flat white. Half my drink was wasted and spilled out when made. And the portions for the cost were also disappointing. But otherwise it was great and it’s a place i hope to frequent.

This was my first visit and I’m pleased. I usually frequent Starbucks, but I decided to find something new, closer, and that served coffee that doesn’t upset my stomach. It appears Ad Astra moved recently because this location looks great inside. It’s quite inviting and relaxing.

Far exceeded our expectations! We found this gem on a whim on our way out of town and it did not disappoint. We’re admit-tingly total coffee snobs and wow- the flavor combination in the special latte was so smooth and absolutely delicious. My husband had the sweet potato muffin and I had a gf banana peanut butter chocolate chip bread and both were amazingly moist and so tasty. The service was fast and super friendly as well! Highly recommend.

It is very quiet and clean. The owner is definitely environmentally conscious, open and friendly. The shop is designed with everyone in mind from those just looking for a place to study or socialize and also for those that have children or looking for a new read. The coffee is generally more robust than other places however they do have many different selections. This place is for those who truly like coffee. I have been to all of the coffee shops in Salina and I would choose this over the chain stores.

Ad Astra is a local coffee shop. It is in a very old and unique storefront that’s all brick inside. All of the bricks are over 100 years old I’m sure. It’s locally ran, it has amazing cappuccinos and coffee you can set and browse at books and read for free, enjoying an assortment of coffee beverages. There’s also coffees that you can buy there that are roasted in Central Kansas that are very good! You can also buy local honey there.

Long road trips need coffee! Thank goodness this place is just off I-35. Cute place to walk around. Lots of coffee options and bakery options. I think they could make their coffee stronger, it had a tea flavor to it though it was good flavor. They had posters talking about poetry and open mike nights and other events they had there. Overall seems like a fun place to go if you are a resident.
