I live right by it I love the way they treat me they make me feel like home or a part even if it’s the first time they seen me I feel like I’ve been going there for years when I’m there. All you can eat peel & eat shrimp sounded like a great deal, but last night the shrimp was overcooked, tasteless, and tough. The hand cut fries were so greasy that a puddle of grease laid on the plate around them. The fries were also limp not crispy. The only saving item was a few fried shrimp I ate that you could tell came frozen in a box, but at least it had taste. Needless to say, I’ll never eat at Adam’s again nor tell anyone they should. I made the mistake of not sending the food back & ordering different food, because I was with a group who seemed to think their food was wonderful. Of course, most of them didn’t have shrimp.

Ok. So I’m in St. Joe and somebody says, “Have you been to Adams Bar & Grill?” I say no and less than an hour later I’m looking for a place to sit cause it’s extremely crowded. I get the last available seat at the bar. Turns out, they have fried chicken! Unreal! Every bar and grill has steaks and burgers but none of them have fried chicken! None! This is a rarity. When you travel for work like I do 250 nights a year, your always looking for a good steak, and you can find it anywhere. Not fried chicken. That makes this place very unique. It takes a little longer for it to cook but it was worth the wait. Those were real mashed potatoes. The chicken was very hot and very good! Ice tea? Excellent! Lots of seating. Three dining rooms. Two pool tables. I counted nine TVs from where I sit at the bar. About ten seats at the bar. This place is all about the atmosphere. It’s family friendly too. They have a kids menu. Everyone must know everyone hear because the four very busy waitresses hugged everyone. It’s definitely a home town crowd because everyone knew everyone’s name! Very lively place and fun! You should come.

I ordered turkey fries and they have always been great. This evening they were tough over cooked. Upon examine them they all had skin left on them and were mostly skin,making them tough and hard to eat,I really hope this changes as I enjoy this menu item slot. Have good evening thank you !

The fried chicken was fabulous. Hush puppies best I’ve had since my grandma made them for me many years ago!! Lots of great choices on the menu. We will be back to try some more soon!!

I was left to wonder why the chicken is famous? It was bland and tasteless and the wing portion was dry! The sweet potato fries were wonderful and the green beans were steaming hot and I loved the honey butter that went on the Texas toast!! And the service was great!

Really great food. Had turkey fries for the first time because I’ve heard good things about them. They was really delicious. Definitely will be back for lunch again sometime. Overall great experience. Sever Laney or Lanie not sure how her name is spelled was very polite and attentive. Refilled our drinks in a timely manner and payed attention when they needed to be refilled. Checked in on us on many occasions. Should definitely give this sweet lady a raise.
