The service was slow. Pretty good food, lot’s of southern food choices, free hush puppies. I had hamburger steak with gravy and mashed potatoes. It was literally a hamburger with gravy. Spuds and gravy were yummy and it came with a Texas toast. They have hand dipped ice cream and a drive thru for pick up. A bit overpriced, homestyle meals

Went on a Monday evening. The lettuce on the salad bar did not look appetizing. It was hot inside as well. Not to busy. Ordered the baked apples, senior seafood, chicken tenders , fried squash. The apples were not good and they took them off the bill. Chicken tenders were chewy and didn’t get eaten as well. Maybe 20 small shrimp on plate. My first and only time.

Stopped by here for lunch on the way from Myrtle Beach, I had the shrimp and fish, it was pretty good, the best sweet tea also. My friend had the fried chicken special and it was really good too. Definitely a hidden treasure. We’ll be back again.

Food and service was great. When seated at your table they give you some of the best hot hushpuppies just cooked with honey butter to dip them in. I order the ribeye almost every time we eat here and its always cooked just right. My husband got one of the seafood plates and the portions are large enough for 2 people! My son got the cheeseburger and said it was good. Our waitress was nice and attentive, checking on us numerous times. The building is older and needs some minor repairs and decor needs to be updated but that doesn’t take away from a good meal. I would definitely recommend coming here weather it’s eating inside or getting it to go.

The food there is amazing! Especially when the main cook is there working. My steak was cooked exactly how I love it and my granddaughters shrimp plate couldnt have been any tastier. I would love to know the main cooks name there is so I can personally tip him myself on the flavor and quality of my steak every time I go!!!! The reason I gave this a 2-star rating is not because of the food, but because of the people. The older lady that works at the register is very rude and has a nasty attitude. I’ve heard from several people that have had the same experience with her as well. Most of the waitresses are good and do work hard. It’s mainly the lady, which is the first and last person you deal with coming and going. The staff there get treated horribly. I feel bad for the employees, especially if she considers herself a manager and they have to work under her.There are people I know who don’t go there anymore because of her.

Our party of six was seated quickly. I am glad we were given a table in the more lit section of the restaurant. The hushpuppies were hot and tasty. Our meals were served quickly. Other than the tartar sauce being a bit too tart; our food was fresh and very good.
