They were very friendly, loved the chicken dish and the split peas and cabbage were also a big hit. The only negative is I thought portions were a bit small for the price, especially with other restaurants super nearby that offer more bang for the buck. But still, definitely recommend for the quality of food and their wonderful customer service!

Always a good sign seeing a largely East African clientele spending a Sunday afternoon here at this Ethiopian standalone establishment on Telegraph.

This is one of the many great Ethiopian restaurants around the Oakland/Berkeley area. We ordered the combo platter and it came with a great assortment of your usual sides. It was nice of our server to throw in extra injera! Prices are very reasonable and the presentation, quality, and portion of the food was great!

Great vegan platter. Flavorful and tasty. Problem is the price. This place is too expensive for what you get. It’s $21 per person and the platter wasn’t even that big. I want to come back, but the price it making me think twice. $14 or $15 would be more appropriate.

Great to-go meal for the family! Food was seasoned from mild to spicy, with rich flavors and wonderful veggies and meats. We had plenty of injera bread, which the kids usually devour. Would definitely recommend and visit again!

Amazing food served with delightfully tasting injera bread. Everything is delicious here. I stick to the veggie options but my husband adores the seafood options. Don’t hesitate to try any of the appetizers although they’ll leave you feeling full before you even get to the best part.
